Which mod would you install as an extra ?

You can pause the install process at any stage... allowing you to manually install the mod in the middle... that would be a way.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

If not already installed (the .exe) it is alright (even if not recommended, installing an missed component by temporary errasing the .exe lines in weidu.log can also help as to this (over BigWorld setup & others biffed install.

Well, still there's a certain decree of dependency still there...
I don't personally know the BG1RE mods situation, but I would install it after the major BGT mods cause I know where it came from ... and expect them to abide the general rules of last installs... but I wouldn't install it the very last cause I think that the over all performance of the game is more important than any single mod, which is why the Generalized Biffing will be installed LAST. Always.
Ouh, and quick snap, the weidu.log doesn't contain .exe references, so it's a .tp2 refs, and installing a component twice the way you suggest is potentially horrible at best.
Now editing the .bat file to install the mod components in different times is fine, and here I actually assume you meant this, as the opposite is damnable ... unless you meant to suggest that installing mods after the BWS is installed without the mods components and then installing them afterwards, which in itself is fine. If not optimal.

Second option, yes.

Sorry if it was not clear enough, I was thinking the mention of biffing made the point clear.

Third option, as the BG1 RE was released some days ago only (after my functional/played install) it make sense it cannot have been that way.
(Ah, contextual informations).
