My BWP Game: errors, etc.

Besides some Candlekeep freezes, met my first crash-error:

When try to view his wares.

Otherwise, game's been going good so far. Except for minor text error with Khalid's dialogue. Like ' being replaced by a square, etc.

OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Still playing meanwhile, and will note had only one freeze (had to task manager; even Candlekeep's) inside the outer walls of Friendly Arm.

Hmm, I can put up just fine with the party members' vocal complaining - they seem a bit confused with neutral-average reputation, some have said the approved variation. Also, Khalid's paper doll when put on helmet the helm's not in right placement.

Otherwise the avatar's fine.

Edits: Oh, right earlier on in game had some simply vanishing wolves. Some did apparently teleport without spell, others just poofed.

Combatwise, when fighting like ghouls when they used a certain attack their graphic-animations temp changed to big different looking monsters but still same old small gibbering-like-ghouls. No troubles fightin' em.

 

Anyways, had played for awhile with little problem. Cloakwood Falls however was kinda laggy at times but apparently found the cause on finishing that quest - it dropped loot twice; even Chelak's Body. Since then it's been way better. But had to Ctrl+Y the spiders also.

 

Another thing, hobbit/halfling village (npc Smeagol around) is missing an exit/entry point to Ulcaster's School, bypassed it by traveling to carnival by Nashkel then south to that School.

Tried once to use the Summon Planetar, sorry no pic but it gave an Assertion Failure.

Edited: Haven't had any issues thus far with either of my mages or enemy mages otherwise.

 

 

And there's these which are more funny than anything and disappear/fixup automatically when thhe doors open:

No, this isn't the first but rather second door that's been like that. Everything else seems good/alrighht thus far.

Oops I think I messed up, tried to just uninstall Pack Mule :ermm: …. Well because lately on getting to SOA part the Mule's started to spawn-block cage door preventing Imoen from opening door, thus preventing game continuation. But early times my Mule either spawned North of the cage, or in the actual cage itself. Which the latter is fine as Immy can still reach door.

 

Shrug, I'm all for restarting the game anyhow. But, I do like the Mule. It's (she's) actually helped me a few times with mobs.

Since my mess up I had done new install, played fine didn't check everything though. - will next play through.

Anyways, apparently on a NEJ part now. Broken machine how many parts is it supposed to need? Turned in some already, Arbatorium restored. No holy water noticed anywhere?

Know the clua code for the holy water plus gear pieces incase for some reason they didn't spawn? Just about searched everywhere using Tab even in tower.

 

And storywise anything I should watch out for? more meaning like whens the scripted deaths if haven't done such n such yet.

Items don't spawn they are in are-files so they should be there if you look at right places. :D

 

Barrel of Holy Water (HOLYWAT).

 

Piece of Broken Machinerys are:

PIECE1 is Kaylessa's inventory at Towerlet 4, Level 1 (TT5401), you get after you kill her.
PIECE2 is at Towerlet 1, Level 3 (TT5203, x 680 y 420)
PIECE3 is at Towerlet 3, Level 2 (TT5302, x 915 y 475)
PIECE4 is at Level 1 (TT5001, x 2495 y 860)

I can't quite recall if I already turned in 3 or 4 machine pieces… Do know had got Kaylessa's and turned that in. Found the piece on the table which was part3 for me I believe.

Its possible a trigger didn't register/flag correctly.

 

I'll double-check again just in case in a moment…

Actually you just push the x button in the area you are in, and doing so will make the dialog box give you a debug info about the area, the name and the coordinates the mouse pointer is at. This is from the BG1EE, but it's almost the same in BG2:ToB too;

Getting this now shortly afters left Irenicus dungeon. Cutscene with Imoen plays out fine, have conversations with party members. Just quick saved after Hrothgar's chat now.

I recognise that door problem outside the Iron Throne. It looks like someone's packaged a buggy version of BG Graphics Overhaul.

No, I can't help any further than that because I've never tested BGGO on a megamod. I don't support it.

But it hasn't been a problem otherwise thus far,...
