I have been modding the 2DA files of the bard, which became a excellent fighter/mage/thief under my hands.
Still I would like to make the bard learn the HLA of the Mage as well, since my bard can cast atleast cast 1 Level 9 Spell at Level 21.
Also while not a HLA, I wish the bard could scribe scrolls like the mage of the ATweaks mod.

While I have the NearInfinityBeta tool, I couldn't figure out, how  to assign these abilities to the bard as well.

Here some of my changes for the curious. (Yes, I am a cheesy munchkin, but I have fun while playing. :3)

MaxSplBard (Wizards and Sorcerers can cast 16 spells per spell level at 50)

It's easy enough to learn Alacrity. HLAs for bards are in LUBA0.2da - LUBA3.2da (0 is true class, 1-3 are kits). Open this files with NI, youshould see a bunch of GA_SPCL9**.spls.

Add one more, GA_SPWI921. That's Alacrity.

Now for the Scribe Scroll ability from ATweaks...

Just like with the above, just add the ability to a new line. It's likely to be: AP_fl#gscrl

... I won't guarantee it though.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

So I have figured it out. The ability is called FL#MSCRL, which needs as Initiate Abilily the GA_ prefix in the class(CL) ability(AB) 2DA data files. The AP_ prefix is used for passive effects.

The data files for the bard in question are:

CLABBA01.2DA

CLABBA02.2DA

CLABBA03.2DA

CLABBA04.2DA

Put in GA_FL#MSCRL in the unused ability place holders and you are ready to go to scribe scrolls as a bard.
