It has been years since I was here last, awesome to see that there's still work done on here! And so, the time has come for another mega mod install :D

I've decided to go for a standard install (which includes way more stuff than last time, yay!), and after eliminating my firewall I was able to get the BWS script up and running.
I tested the download links and got a few missing archives. I put the results I got manually next to them:

TeamBG Armor Pack for BG1 [New]  => BGeeARv105.rar (manual download ok)
Silver Star NPC [New] => http://gamingnerdsrus.co/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi?action=downloads;sa=downfile&id=478
Anishai One-Day NPC [New] => 404 (in russian)
Ding0's Tweak Pack [New] => 404, seems to have moved to a github link according to www.pearlgates.net
Sword Coast Stratagems [New] => stratagems-v30.exe (manual download ok)
Enhanced BG2 [New] => 404 (in russian)
Improved Anvil Lite [New] => http://gamingnerdsrus.co/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi?PHPSESSID=06ffb141ab83cc25e91c7a8fdfdaaff4&action=downloads;sa=downfile&id=185 (a php session id in the link? umm...)
Baldur's Gate Trilogy Graphics Overhaul [New] => 404 on dropbox

Can you advise me where to get those missing items? and where I have to put them after manually downloading them (found it, just put them to the downloads folder)

Ok, seems like I have to retry the download process a few times in order to get most of the downloads working. Right now I'm down to this:

The following mod(s) could not be downloaded:

// 404
Improved Anvil Lite: The Mod itself (Improve__Anvil_Lite.zip)

Baldur's Gate Trilogy Graphics Overhaul: The Mod itself (bgtgraphics18.rar)
Silver Star NPC: The Mod itself (Star193.rar)
Enhanced BG2: The Mod itself (Enhanced_BG2_v1.1.zip)

Ding0's Tweak Pack: The Mod itself (d0tweak_v22rc3.zip)

Anishai One-Day NPC: The Mod itself (anishainpc_v1.5.rar)

// can't find download link on Gibberlings3 Forum

Item Revisions: The Mod itself (Item Revisions V3 Beta 1.1.rar)**

Druid Kit Enhancements: The Mod itself (phord_druidkits.zip)**
Sword Coast Stratagems: Additional mods (stratagemsV28 fix V1.6.rar)
B!Tweaks "Lite": The Mod itself (b!tweak_lite-v4.exe)**
Crusader Pack: The Mod itself (CrusaderPack4.3.rar)**
Legion of Hell: The Mod itself (LOHMod.zip)**
Polytweak: The Mod itself (Polytweak_v2.0.rar)**
Volcanic Armoury: The Mod itself (VolcanicArmoury1.5.rar)**
Coondred: The Mod itself (Coondred1.3.rar)**
Quallo: The Mod itself (quallo114.rar)

The following mods cannot be installed because of missing dependence:

Item Revisions Shatterfix:
0000: Iron crises shatttering effect [New]

Ninja and Waki Fix:
0000: Quickfix for wakizashis and ninja-tos [New]

Macholy's Teammates Fight Scripts:
0000: Install Macholy's fight scripts V3.1 -> Compatible with SCSI&II [New]

This sounds good enough for me to start the install - but I'll do so tomorrow after some more reading and tinkering :) Any tips meanwhile are welcome!

I checked BWS setup file, and it's the 20150104 version - that seems to be the most current one?

As for network issues... none that I'd know of, everything else is working fine, and once a download starts it also downloads fully (as far as I can tell).

As all the essential mods are here and from the descriptions of the missing ones there is nothing that I'd sorely miss, I'll start installing now :)

Ok, I'm rerunning the install (thanks and goodbye Comodo firewall).

Except for aforementioned mods downloading worked fine.

During NSIS phase of extraction the mod Angelo_v5 brought up a command line saying invalid game path, C:\Spiele\BGII - SoA worked for every other mod though. I closed the window manually.

During install phase I got a few more issues:

Setup-Huple_NPC.exe --no-exit-pause --noautoupdate --language 2 --skip-at-view --quick-log --force-install-list 0 1 --logapp
[Setup-Huple_NPC.exe] WeiDU version 23700

Choose your language:
 0 [Castellano]
 1 [Francais (par Althea)]
Using Language [Francais (par Althea)]

Weeell... I think I might manage French, but I thought that the Standard Setup would include only mods translated to at least English as well. Then again, it doesn't say so anywhere and I only *thought* it. Anyway, would be cool to have an English version.

C:\Spiele\BGII - SoA>Setup-BG_Travel.exe --no-exit-pause --noautoupdate --language 0 --skip-at-view --quick-log --force-install-list 0 --logapp
[Setup-BG_Travel.exe] WeiDU version 23700

I couldn't find any info on this one yet. As I said, I only used Standard BWS installation without any additional adds or removes (except those above).

More coming as install goes along :)

Hmm, BWS downloads Huple v1.2, this version is outdated, the current version is 1.4 (german and english translation included)

The new travel system in BG is broken with the current Weidu Version, because the ADD_AREA_REGION_TRIGGER Macro was changed in v237... (according this Github commit, this should be fixed in the next WeiDU version. ;))

ADD_AREA_ITEM and ADD_AREA_REGION are implemented through fj_are_structure.

Or you change this block:

Umm... So I can just copy/paste that in the corresponding tp2 file... and then?

My installation by now has already finished, so I guess I'd have to do the install manually - how so? And will it mess up my installation or is it safe to do it at this point?

Also, I got a few more errors from other mods (in order of occurence):

1.)

Not nice to have, but I think these are no game breakers - right? :o

Hmm, yes replace the code in the tp2 and install it, I don't think this will mess up your current Install, because only the are files would touched... (The question ist, do you need the new travel system? :D)

1)

Hmm, the Macros for Aran should moved to a Always block, currently these are located in component 0, I don't know if the mod works fine without the other components...

2,3 & 4) Hmm, I don't know if these are gamebreaking, but you could upload the spells and the mod debug Files, so we could figure out, how to get rid of them ;)

(PS: My English is not the best, I know you are german, you could find me on the Kerzenburg forum if you have questions. :))

Sorry for the delay, here are the debug log files. Unfortunately I can't gather much from them myself, the timing values don't give me a clue

Hi folks!

Now I'm trtying to install my bigworld with BWS, and I'm getting at the point, where the BWS downloads the mods. Unfortunatelly I've also have some missing archives.

"The following mod(s) could not be downloaded:

Ding0's Tweak Pack: The Mod itself (d0tweak_v22rc3.zip)
Multi-Install Tool: The Mod itself (MultiInstallTool-5.1.10.jar)
Nameless Melody Inn: The Mod itself (NMT-V2.1.zip)
Sword Coast Stratagems: Additional mods (stratagemsV28 fix V1.6.rar)

The following mods cannot be installed because of missing dependence:

Macholy's Teammates Fight Scripts:
0000: Install Macholy's fight scripts V3.1 -> Compatible with SCSI&II [New]"

In my directory, I've got Ding0's tweak pack v22, in winRAR, and SCS v30.

According to the instructions, I can force the BWS to use my archive files, that differs in size or name from the expected. So in this case its absolutely normal to force the BWS to use my Ding0 version, and I don't have to afraid of problems coming up?

Another question is about SCS v28 fix. I have SCS v30 in my directory. The BWS is still want to use the v28, or it's just the download section, that is outdated? What if I force it to use v30? Can it be problematic? Or do I really need this v28 fix?

Yes, it's just outdated mod files... and yes you probably should use the new ones, and yes, there can be a few problems, but for example the d0tweak's v22rc3 was a research candidate while the v22 is an actual release. And the v28 fix is for the v28, not to v30. (this should go without saying.) If I were you, I would force, use and abuse(the new files).

The reason why the BWS install script is technically pointing to to the old files is that the mods have been updated while the BWS itself hasn't, as the magic man Silent_AC hasn't had the time to update his work.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Alien updated the files for the master.zip and Turin likely loaded the download from the beginning of this year.
Anyway, just force the BWS to use scs30 as "Additional mod file". Then the BWS will extract scs30 twice => no harm whatsoever.

Or you'll have to edit the BiG World Setup\Config\BWP\Mod.ini.
Just remove the entries with an "add" at the beginning underneath the [stratagems]-section. Save, Restart the BiG World Setup.vbs and resume the install.
THINK! - It's not illegal.

Well, that was the case, I'd fought originally, just I needed the confirmation, 'cause I don't want to spoil my first installation attempt and begin the whole procedure from the beginning. So thanx!
