Hello everyone,

I'm trying to do a Big World Setup install but I'm running into a lot of difficulties. I believe I have done everything correctly before using the program (I'm using Windows 7, the game is not installed in Program files, and UAC is disables, as well as virus scanner/firewall during install) and it worked perfectly with downloading the required mods, but installing them is not working out. I used the Recommended setup, and added a few mods to it (mostly NPCs/item mods) and there were no conflict warning so I figured it would be all right. Now during installation I constantly get the following error:

The BWS failed to read the debug-file. That file should be created during the installation of a mod and thus should be readable.

Check if you need to run this with administrator-privileges.
You can do that by using the context-menu of the D:\Mods\baldurs gate 2\bws_20150104\BiG World Setup\AutoIt3.exe, selecting the "run as administrator"-entry and then the BiG World Setup.au3 from the file-dialog.

After that the only option is to close the program so I don't really have any logs either. Of course I'm running the program as admin, and when I re-open it, it does actually install the mod that previously gave the error, but then gives the error again a few mods later. Is there something I'm missing here? I couldn't find anything on this forum about this problem, save for 1 topic but that didn't actually had an solution.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Do you have Comodo firewall and only set it to game mode for install instead of disabling it completely (i.e. disabling all the background services)? That screwed it up for me.
