I just installed (again :D) the BWP/S etc ... only this time when I went to change the NPC pics (bioware's, my choice of Kelsey, Ajantis, and other romancable NPC's)

it wouldn't let me. I have chosen the after-clean-up option previously but it never prevented me from changing the pics before. Now when I try it, the override folder is empty.

I am really pissed. I hate the pics I am "forced" to use. Is there anything I can do?

Ooo, squirells, Boo! I know I saw them! Quick, throw nuts!

Drop the files you want to use in the override folder. They should be found in their respective mod folders.

I suppose when you say "override folder is empty" it's because your game was "biffed"? I don't use the cleanup option and haven't biffed my games in a while with EEs being free of lag even with 30k files including whole areas :D It probably also deletes the mods' files and folders which is what you mean by "it wouldn't let me"?

You can also use the ShadowKeeper or Near Infinity to look at what the file name is that you need to replace. And then put them to the override folder, even if there isn't one. (this is assuming you play the old non-Enhanced Edition game).
There's also an EE Keeper. Aka, the same thing for the EE games, than a ShadowKeeper is for the non-EE ToB games.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Best location for .bmp files, in my highly biased opinion, is inside the portraits folder.

Well technically it really doesn't matter where it is as long as it's in the higher order of these, than the rest. And the save file uses that .bmp name reference.

Yeah. I favor shaving off every possible nanosecond of computer searching time, wherever possible ;)
