Thank you Argent77 for such properly filled template. It saves a lot of manual investigation. Component 'Add +4 arrows, bolts and two powerful bows to the game' can be only installed on 'BG2:ToB, BG2:EE or IWD:EE'. I've edited template i reflect such information but you don't have to do anything - I've added you mod.

Well, I would assume that if you wish to submit a request, this could be the best to take example off... as in, you can also request replacements( the mod name got changed etc.), editorials (as in the mod was changed so that component numbers were changed etc edits to them... )
But of course you have to change the format a bit. It's just an easy to read format example.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

It's for all new mods or for existing mods which suddenly gets massive update and almost everything was changed. Yet, the download link requirement is valid for all mods.

I posted this in the other thread, but since it's a chance that makes the use of the current BWS for installation impossible it might be better posted here:

Sir Ajantis NPC for BGII is now officially v12 and available from the Downloads Page. This means the link and file size have to be corrected.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but the download location for the Faren BG2 NPC mod has been updated: http://www.shsforums...ile/1125-faren/.

As always I'm late with the response, but thank you, both mods have been added/updated (though you probably already know about this).

It's currently only in the EET branch of BWS. You can use this link to download the most recent snapshot.

Is there a reason that this can't be on the Master branch?  Would it be ok if I tried to put it on the Master branch too?  Yes, the mod is new and install order is not completely verified, but couldn't we have the option to just install it at the end?  What can I do to help?

Edit: My question may have been answered at: http://www.shsforums...ogram/?p=577530

Nope. Or rather EEt is (usually) not another label for testing because of the mods it provides.

You could just go and copy the mods file (here djinnicompanion,ini) from EET-branches Config\Global-folder into the masters Config\Global-directory.
Then go to the config-folder of the game you want to play, like Config\BWP (that's BG2/Tob-modding based on BWP instructions).
Look for entries in the select.txt and game.ini and append those entries to the masters files.
After the mod that's listed before your new mod in the select.txt or to the sections they are in in the Game.ini.

Here:
Game.ini, section [Connections]
Djinni Companion=D:DjinniCompanion(101|102|103|104|105)|DjinniCompanion(200):DjinniCompanion(0)
Add Infinity Animation creatures=D:DjinniCompanion(900):DjinniCompanion(0)&infinityanimations(50)

Select.txt right after STD;c#solaufein;2;20;0111;

MUC;DjinniCompanion;Init;12;0111;
MUC;DjinniCompanion;0;12;0111;
MUC;DjinniCompanion;1;12;0000;
MUC;DjinniCompanion;Init;12;0000;
MUC;DjinniCompanion;101;12;0000;
MUC;DjinniCompanion;102;12;0000;
MUC;DjinniCompanion;103;12;0000;
MUC;DjinniCompanion;104;12;0000;
MUC;DjinniCompanion;105;12;0000;
STD;DjinniCompanion;200;12;0000;
STD;DjinniCompanion;300;12;0111;
STD;DjinniCompanion;900;12;0111;

You can do that with all new mods.

OK, before I post my template, I have a couple of questions.

It tells which component can be installed on which game.

Ok, I get it.

Numbers are the same as in WeiDU-XX

You lost me. What is WeiDU-XX?

@2=Component with subcomponents
@2?1_1=30 minutes real time between the talks
@2?1_2=45 minutes real time between the talks

What are the "?" for? What do they mean? Never seen this before.

I guess I just don't understand the format here.

[WeiDU-EN]
...
[WeiDU-SP]
...

I assume these are the different languages for each mod (something to do with WeiDU-XX). Great, I'm so lost.

Not to be a pain in the ass, but this template is terrible. I have no idea what anything in the second half means.

Please enlighten me or update the template to be less arcane.

Thank you.
