I seem to have alot of questions lately =p....I have always wondered and like always this is prolly a dumb question, but why are the different mods different colors ? LIke for instance..one Never Ending Journy is red and another is blue ? Then some mods are orange and green ?.......And my second question is ..when installing and the bwp cant find the download link for the mod so you have to provide it...it will offten say the file is to small...and ask if you want to force it ...what does that mean ? Is it bad to do that ? ......so on and so forth...any help shedding some light on this from you boys I would love it :)

The colors discern the difference between the eXpert mods(red, buggy ! Do not download/install or you'll definitely likely to break your game ! ), orange (that are tactical mods, these will make the game harder, install at your own caution), blue and green(recommended and minimum required for a BGT-megamod). You can also skip a few of the minimum required mods by opting out the BGT-Weidu of course, but the rest are required.
when installing and the bwp cant find the download link for the mod
Erhm the BWP has no links. The BWS or BiG World Setup.vbs does, and it keeps record of the file size it's expecting the download to be, now if you think your download is the correct one you have the option to provide the file for BWS to install. It can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on exactly nature of what the mod and the concequencies of that mod are.
Yes, that's the answer, and that let's you run around tracing your own tail like a dog.
But considering you probably should be using the Master -Branch of the BWS, not the bws_20150302.exe, it shouldn't have too many of those choices as it's quite up to date, or I think so at least.

More questions ? Ask! You'll never get them answered, even if it's as bad as my answers, if you won't ask them. "So, go ahead, ask." Now you have that, so you can quote on me on that. :P

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

the only links I find in LW page are
:the imp looks you kinda funny:
:it must be confused:
:then it turns it's head around vertically and says something like, "ah still crazy, good":
:ermm: What's this "LW page" ?

First of all, you probably want to be using the BiG World Setup(.vbs), not the BiG World Project, cause ... well that's a project and it's not a program you can use.
More on that later... but the files that belong to the BWProject are here available for download, to use them, you have to read the 300 page .pdf manual that's mostly skippable, but only mostly, but you can do the whole thing much easier by using the BWS.

OK then, to get it's most recent version of the BWS, you go here and instead of download the recent release from that page, you HAVE to click the "Branches" -tab, and then load the master branches archive (zip).

K, that was all about the BWS.
Now then:
After carefull reading I noticed I have been switching ...bwp and bws.....I attempted to use bws, but I cant change certain things I need to ....seems like most people use bws....and I have accedently switched the two in my passed question....so I have confused myself...as to which one I need....I need to be able to take out certain mods,,,becous ealot of the choices I want check mark the wrong component I need ...I think I need bwp so I can change the option...heh never had to work this hard to find a link before...
Yeah, that's true.
Now, what options do you wish to change that are not available in the BWS ? You can op out the BGT-weidu by setting the BG1 directory as "-" without the quotes, like one of the instructions in the program say, nearly all the other mods are up to you to choose and to not to choose to install on component by component bases.
Yes, there are a few mods that do not have a complete component selection available, but most of them are. Yes, with the BWP's Install.bat, you could install also those with enough research, but that's a horrific way to go about it.

What comes to the choices of components, the BWS most recent version(the master version above) should have the component numbers quite right, and if some of them are wrong, you can post a note of them in this forum. Remember that we can't fix what's unseen. All but the very required components are optional, you can remove all of the optional components, and choose different ones instead, so long as there's no conflicts between them, and even then you get to make a choice of which one you wish to remove.
the only links I found are for the pdf and only the pdfs or packs...no link for the BWP itself
Well, the BWP is a project, much a like ... wisdom, you can't download it directly from the internet. Even if there are quite many people spreading theirs to other people via the internet. Can you follow that logic ? The project consists of the .pdf file and the tools made available by Leonardo Watson for repeating his experience.

Hmm, good chocolate, thanks.
Thank you imp for suffering through my flood of stupid questions........
Flood... so where's the rest of them ?
And I am happy to help. The BWP/BWS and so forth is confusing enough for more than a few people, so the questions you asked aren't actually that stupid at all... and there is hopefully someone else that was confused by some of this and this gave them clarity too. Hopefully.
