the only links I find in LW page are
:the imp looks you kinda funny:
:it must be confused:
:then it turns it's head around vertically and says something like, "ah still crazy, good":
What's this "LW page" ?
First of all, you probably want to be using the BiG World Setup(.vbs), not the BiG World Project, cause ... well that's a project and it's not a program you can use.
More on that later... but the files that belong to the BWProject are
here available for download, to use them, you have to read the 300 page .pdf manual that's mostly skippable, but only mostly, but you can do the whole thing much easier by using the BWS.
OK then, to get it's most recent version of the BWS, you go
here and instead of download the recent release from that page, you HAVE to click the "Branches" -tab, and then load the master branches archive (zip).
K, that was all about the BWS.
Now then:
After carefull reading I noticed I have been switching ...bwp and bws.....I attempted to use bws, but I cant change certain things I need to ....seems like most people use bws....and I have accedently switched the two in my passed question....so I have confused myself...as to which one I need....I need to be able to take out certain mods,,,becous ealot of the choices I want check mark the wrong component I need ...I think I need bwp so I can change the option...heh never had to work this hard to find a link before...
Yeah, that's true.
Now, what options do you wish to change that are not available in the BWS ? You can op out the
BGT-
weidu by setting the
BG1 directory as "-" without the quotes, like one of the instructions in the program say, nearly all the other mods are up to you to choose and to not to choose to install on component by component bases.
Yes, there are a few mods that do not have a complete component selection available, but most of them are. Yes, with the
BWP's Install.bat, you could install also those with enough research, but that's a horrific way to go about it.
What comes to the choices of components, the BWS most recent version(the master version above) should have the component numbers quite right, and if some of them are wrong, you can post a note of them in this forum. Remember that we can't fix what's unseen. All but the very required components are optional, you can remove all of the optional components, and choose different ones instead, so long as there's no conflicts between them, and even then you get to make a choice of which one you wish to remove.
the only links I found are for the pdf and only the pdfs or packs...no link for the BWP itself
Well, the
BWP is a project, much a like ... wisdom, you can't download it directly from the internet. Even if there are quite many people spreading theirs to other people via the internet. Can you follow that logic ? The project consists of the .pdf file and the tools made available by Leonardo Watson for repeating his experience.
