Howdy Rhaella!

 

Firstly I want to say, I really enjoy the Isra NPC Mod for BG2. Great character, interesting quests, a beautiful romance and superb(!) voice-acting - arguably the best I've heard so far in a NPC Mod. So a big compliment to you, fantastic work! 

 

Unfortunately I believe I've ran into a (hopefully) small problem with the mod. I am currently romancing Isra and so far everything went great. My character does meet the requirements (Female Elf, neutral good, Charisma 18, Reputation 20) and I am not romancing anyone else at the moment - not even by accident, as Isra is the only romanceable NPC in my party. So I doubt that the problem was caused by any of this.

 

I spent a lot of time in Chapter 2, to make sure that I get all her Pre-Chapter 4 Lovetalks before sailing to Brynnlaw. And I think I have gotten them all, but unfortunately there is no way for me to check it via PID (as mentioned in the Readme) to be sure - the option to ask her about our quest has disappeared after accepting Gaelan's offer and progressing to Chapter 3 

 

The last LT I've got in Chapter 2 was the one were she first asked me if I will stay in Amn after the quest is over (to which I replied I would stay a lifetime) and ended with her wondering what we find when we get to Imoen. I haven't gotten any LT since, so I guess I am done for now. However, when I asked her about our mission then (note: still in Chapter 2), she said she wasn't eager working with the Shadow Thieves but saw no alternative. So I figured, maybe the PID where she said she was worried about Imoen only appeared AFTER accepting the Thieves offer and progressing to Chapter 3...but as I said above, after starting Chapter 3, the option to ask her about our mission completely vanished.

 

The romance doesn't seem to be broken, though. She still flirts with me a lot and all other options via PID (flirt, ask her about something personal, etc.) are still there and working great. 

 

So is it safe to continue to Chapter 4 and not miss out on any romance content? Or do you suspect my romance is screwed now?

Hmm, it looks like the option to ask via PID got a bit broken. But yeah, you should be safe to go now. Glad you're enjoying her! =)

I just started Chapter 4 and the PID option to ask about the quest has magically reappeared - so it seems to have been a problem in Chapter 3 only. I just hope that it hasn't affected anything else in the mod, especially concerning the romance. Though I don't even know if something like that even COULD screw with the mod/romance, as I have literally no idea how programming works 

 

So may I ask when I can expect the next LT or other romance related dialogue? After rescuing Imoen? Or do I have to wait till after the Underdark? I simply want to be 100% sure that my romance wasn't affected by the problem and is still working as intended. 

 

And yeah, I am really enjoying the mod. So much in fact, that I have already looked up if you have made any other NPC mods. And I was happy to see you did. Thus my next playthrough will surely feature Adrian. So again - brilliant work!

If you download the Keeper of whichever game you have (SoA, ToB or EE) you can check on which stage you LT is. It's a must have for anything: problem solving, info check or even changing things that normally cannot be changed; my Elven Sorceress uses Crom Faeyr, Staff of Magi and Inquisitor's True Sight and Aerie has 18 CON.

Sorry about the late update on my part, I am currently kinda busy with studying and actually forgot to check this thread for a while.

 

But is seems that everything is working fine with the Isra romance. I am in Chapter 6 and I get the feeling that I haven't missed a single LT. Just got her back yesterday after she was kidnapped by Bodhi and now I have a quest to restore her Paladin status - I am curious how that will turn out

I am actually using EEKeeper, but not to give me any kind of advantage. I simply changed Isra's proficiencies from Two-Handed Swords to Bastard Swords, as my Charname in my previous playthrough was already a Carsomyr-wielding Cavalier and it would have been kinda boring to have one of those again. I rarely used Bastard Swords before, so I have really fun using "new" weapons this time around.
