I m working on two dragonslayer paladin kits : the good and the evil path.

The first one gains bonus against evil dragons; the second against good ones.

I created spells that give a permanent +2 bonus to THAC0 against specific dragons at level 10, then +1 at levels 20, 30, 40 and 50 (THAC0 vs. Creature Type Modifier [178]). They are applied with the CLAB files.

They also gain a +1 bonus per level to damage vs the same creatures.

I have two questions :

1. Are those effects applied cumulatively? I mean at level 20, does the character gains a +3 bonus (2+1)? I know it works with "usual" THAC0 bonus.

2. How can I check how they work in game? I mean, I installed ToBEx and can read an amazing line of informations when fighting (how To Hit and damage rolls are caculated), but those infos sound alien to me.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

I don't know, you will have to test this (and report to the IESDP :) )

You should go under game options > feedback > show to hit rolls. Once you are done, save an identical version of "OGRE01.cre" but with whatever race/class/etc. you want your THAC0 bonus to be against. Then in the game, CLUA both OGRE01.cre and your .cre and try to make a few swings. Look at the to hit feedback in the combat log, which is in the form of x + y = z: Hit/Miss. Look at the y value because that's where all the modifiers are.

No, and they don't stack with weapon effects (Cavalier doesn't benefit from Dragonslayer's  extra damage vs dragons).

So what is the solution?

I mean if I apply another spell at level 20 (+3 bonus), will it "cover" and replace the first one (+2 bonus) or will it be useless?

I think it will be useless, but I may be wrong. Try giving the 2nd one a huge damage bonus (500 or so) and CLUA in a dragon; that's one way to test it. If you kill him in a single shot, it replaces the first one. If not,  :( .

I think the engine is pretty lame in handling these. As far as i know, when it finds the first matching value it immediately stops looking for more. So it isn't even looking for the largest matching bonus.

Nor it is cumulative.

Thanks Avenger!

It seems I can't do what I attended to. It doesn't work: all my tests failed.

A workaround would be to delete the effects given at the previous level and add new ones, but I have not to tested it yet.
