I realize that this forum is mostly about megamodding BG2, but I am about to try out a game of Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition (IWDEE) with lots of mods, and wanted to see if anyone here has any advice I can use.

Here is the list of IWDEE compatible mods I'd like to use, and their proposed install order.  Please let me know if you see any mod conflicts or if I need to reshuffle my mod install order.  Thanks.

1.   IWDEE NPC v5

2.   IWDEE Minor NPC Portraits v1.04

3.   IWDEE No Restrictions

4.   More Style for Mages v1.42

5.   Morningstar of Action +4

6.   IWDEE Duskblade Kit v1.1

7.   IWDEE Kitpack v2.7 - A Frosty Journey

8.   Improved Archer Kit v2.1

9.   IWDEE Wizard Slayer Kit Rebalancing v1.12

10. IWDEE House Rules Tweaks v1.1

11. Rogue Rebalancing v4.80

12. BG2 Tweaks v16

13. IWDEE Scales of Balance v3.12

(except don't modify spell tables - conflicts with BG2 Tweaks)

(except don't use proficiency overhaul - conflicts with Rogue Rebalancing first component)

14. aTweaks v4.40 beta 3 for IWDEE

The order looks okay to me, just FYI if the "Improved Archer" mod (I'm just now noticing that mod title is a bit presumptuous...:P) Anyway if it modifies the core Archer files instead of adding s new alternative Archer kit, then the Scales of Balance Warrior Tweaks (component #300) will probably conflict with it.

I agree. With Improved Archer and Scales of Balance, the Archer kit doesn't even show up. It is replaced by other kits.

Well, Scales of Balance turns the Archer into an elf-only bow-only kit, with special fey magic called shots (Entangle, Sleep, and Faerie Fire). For humans it creates a fighter-based archer kit, called the Marksman, with skill in both bows and crossbows and more mundane called shots (Pin, Slow, and Disarm).

I think if you combine the two mods, elves will get the massive benefits of the Improved Archer mod, and non-elves can be Marksmen.

You can use Near Infinity after the fact, to manually edit CLSRCREQ.2da, to enable non-elves to take the Archer kit... the description will be a little wacky, but it should work fine.
