While I'm fairly certain that Throne of Bhall revisited beta I don't want to touch with 20 feet long rusty polearm if I want to keep ToB portion of game stable and bugfree ( but hey, convince me otherwise, I would really like it ), Wheels of prophecy are somewhat harder to discern. While on one hand I really liked Restored ToB heads fix, the number of false and messed dialogues and ( freezed) cutscenes which were left unanswered and unfixed on mods forum and even in newest version of mod left my hair lifted on my head. So, I would really like the option to include only Kaeoloree's original mod if it is possible and convinient. Also I would appreciate it if someone could answer this:

 One more question though, if anyone know answer, it seems that Ding0 quest pack v.3.1 component 5 ( additional Shadow thieves content) is still corrupted? I mean, if you play with it when you report to Renal good news about dispatching Mae'var everyone turn hostile. Found it the hard way when this mod just came out, even reported it on mod's forum. I wouldn't like to make the same mistake twice...

And lastly, but not least I would like to know what is the deal with Rukrakia's mod worldmap overwrite, is there some workaround to fix it? Thanks in advance.

While your words about ToB Revisited would not be my choice of words, I would not object the message.

Wheels of Prophecy has been in my installations since forever - gladly I never read any of the forum threads you refer to - if there are bugs, frozen, cutscenes etc I was lucky to somehow have circumnavigated them in all my play throughs.

About Ding0 - I have not used it due to that same bug and saw no need to try it again ever since extended thief stronghold mod came out.

This is just personal experience from a large number of plays through the whole game - no scientific analysis.

4 of 5, not bad. You are on the good way to become my favourite modder Roxanne.  :)  Thanks.

I also look longingly at the readme for Wheels of Prophecy every time I set up an install, but have thus far lacked the courage to install it after reading the very same bug report threads. It's a real pity DavidW is no longer maintaining the mod, which is a really nice concept storywise.

Was never aware of this issue with Questpack... *sigh and reach for more ibuprofen*

Thanks for the link.  I will check if we have this patch included in the BiG World Fixpack yet.

No problem, but unfortunately it seems that second link is dead. This was taken from kerzenburg. Please inform me if there is any success with it, if not I will try to dig something else.

I need the mod itself - rukrakia 0.8 - can't find a copy.

The issue is that Rukrakia vanilla mod overwrites vanilla worldmap bam files (soa and tob) with its own ones rather than patching them.

Lollorian and me are working on it.

Nightfarer, can you direct me to a copy of Rukrakia 0.8?

Hi agb1.

The mod is no longer available. I do remember Lollorian pasted a link pointing to the mod in his google drive. I will try to find it and paste you here :)

Thanks.  I found this but it's Tomoyo, not Rukrakia.

Great to know, looking forward to this. Not sure though, is this patch incorporated in newest Rukrakia 0.8 or not, tried looking in that above link, but frankly, didn't understand much. Mandarin is not one of my strong sides, and google chrome translator is little sub par.  :)

That attachment is for Rukrakia v0.7 and, frankly, don't know what it does... I don't have it at hand. I guess it adds compatibility to latest bp-bgt-worldmap... but it's only a guess.

In Rukrakia v0.8 there is a piece of code in the tp2 file setup that copies worldmap files (wmp files) of the mod into override. The same is also done for bam map icon files. The mod overrides vanilla bam files with its own files.

Lollorian and me are working on the issue, to have the mod patching existing files without overriding them :)

EDIT: I forgot, we have already solved the bam patching... though there is still the worldmap patching we're working on.

Nightfarer, attached is the Rukrakia worldmap patch that Greenhorn found.  According to the website, it is supposed to be extracted in the game folder after extracting the original Rukrakia mod (replacing files).  But I also see it is "0.7" not "0.8" and I don't have 0.8 to do a diff compare so I don't know if it is included already.

Thanks for that file :new_thumbs:

I just performed a diff on that tp2 setup and rukrakia v0.8 (I pasted you the link some messages above).

There are some differences due to new introduced content in v0.8 but, for the worldmap we're interested in, the following code is not present in v0.8:

//**************************************************
//  WORLDMAP
//**************************************************
PRINT ~¿ùµå¸ÊÀ» ¾÷µ¥ÀÌÆ® ÇÕ´Ï´Ù...~

ACTION_IF FILE_EXISTS ~Worldmap/map_mods_areas.tbl~ THEN BEGIN
  COPY ~Worldmap/map_mods_areas.tbl~  ~Worldmap~
   APPEND_FILE ~rukrakia/Worldmap/areas.tbl~

  COPY ~Worldmap/map_mods_links.tbl~  ~Worldmap~
   APPEND_FILE ~rukrakia/Worldmap/links.tbl~

  //preliminary step - making LANGUAGE temporary file until the new WeiDU
  COPY - ~rukrakia/Worldmap/korean/worldmap.tra~  ~tmp_worldmap.tra~
  COPY ~Worldmap/map_mods_trans.tra~  ~Worldmap~
   APPEND_FILE ~tmp_worldmap.tra~
END
ELSE BEGIN
  MKDIR ~Worldmap~
  COPY ~rukrakia/Worldmap/areas.tbl~ ~Worldmap/map_mods_areas.tbl~
  COPY ~rukrakia/Worldmap/links.tbl~ ~Worldmap/map_mods_links.tbl~
  COPY ~rukrakia/Worldmap/korean/worldmap.tra~ ~Worldmap/map_mods_trans.tra~
END

I will try to do a port to version 0.8 (both korean and english) but will take me some weeks. I will be without pc for some weeks
