Hi

First off. Thank you to all the modders out there. Your mods are amazing!. I am enjoining playing this old game so much!

I wanted to pick up Isra but it means I will have to make another party member leave. If I ever decided to have this party member rejoin would their dialogue be broken? If, for example, I was in the middle of a friendship or romance series of dialogues with the party member when I made him/her leave, can I just continue where I left off?

Thanks in advance.

This is quite different for the different mods by the different authors. In many cases the romance breaks. In some cases that have an extended friendship sequence of talks, that may break as well. Other NPCs are again more tolerant and resume their relationship. Again others will leave permanently when you kick them out.

There is no general rule for it, but kicking out the one you romance is in most cases not a good idea.

If you have a specific NPC you have questions about, it may be mentioned in the mods readme (or just ask here).

If it's someone you're romancing, I would be careful - I believe that kicking some of the Bioware characters did break their romances, but I'm not 100% sure of that. If it's another mod NPC, you'll probably be okay, though it would depend on how the NPC was scripted.

Thank you for the quick answers!
Will I be able to fix it with EE Keeper? By setting back the global variables for the characters as they were before they left.

For some romances it is possible to cheat. Many have Globals that say XXXX(NPCscriptname)romanceactive = 1,2 or 3 where 1 is for early part of romance 2 is your lover and 3 is failed or over (0 means your PC is not qualified for romance at all, gender, race or allignment etc). Often this global is set to 3 when you kick the NPC out, you can reset it by keeper or by cluaconsole.

Some NPCs are more complex, you need to check out their scripts to see for possible resets.
