Does a Lolfixer Kit bug exist?

I had a completely successful installation (I thought) but problems with Kits now appear when I try to play the game.  When using level1 NPC to assign some kits to NPC, all the kits were present and I remember no duplicate kit issues.  When I started the game, most of all the kits I loaded were gone and some issues exist with duplicate kits.  Example:  Sharpshooter installed by Song and Silence is no longer present, while two entries exist for Adventurer Kit.  I gave Minsc the Lion Warrior Kit, that kit is not longer present and Minsc no longer has that kit.  The only program that I see that runs after level1 NPC (which is very near the end) that could "fix" kits is Lolfixer?

Any idea why the vast majority of the kits disappeared so near the end of the installation?  Is it Lofixer?  How to correct?

Please note that the BWS installation has the same issue.  No sharpshooter, duplicate adventurer kit, blank lines in-between kits (in level 1 NPC).  What is in common is that I did not install the TDD and ROT Kits, because I don't like having all those kits clutter up the screen.  Does some "fix" program expect them and so it tires to fix something that is not broken and actually breaks things?.

Does a ... Kit bug exist?

Hmm, it depends a lot on your install setup... what mods edit the kit.ids for example, and so forth.

--change-log the kit.ids file ... would be a good start and upload of the folder.

I assuming it's the things I expect, if you hadn't patched the L1NPCs .tp2 file with the BiG World Fixpack, it can lead to all sorts of problems ... if it's not that, it's something else --- that the --change-log should show. When you open the backup files.

You can always uninstall any mod you suspect and see if it helps. I have my doubts that the Lolfix would do such.. but you never know for sure.

Erhm, or more appropriately, I don't, cause I don't install any megamod installs, being too busy playing visual novels... anyways.

You have to be a forum member to upload files as .zip and other archives to the forum, and sometimes that won't help either as the browser setup might error out, if that happens, I encourage you to find a upload site you like... I like the MediaFire.com , but that's just my PERSONAL taste. Use what you like.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Imp:  Thanks for your input.

Note:  I am a registered user who forgot his password and waiting on the admins to reset my password. (auto recover password function not working)  I cannot register as a different user unless I have a different e-mail address.  My installation used the BWP fixpack.  Weidu log indicates level 1 NPC v 1.9 BWP fix

Some additional information:

The BWP override folder has the correct KitsID and Kitlist.  Blank Tiles are in the Kit list that appears when creating a character and looks like it matches the number of missing kits.  I am wondering if the Dialog.tlk or chitin.key files got corrupted for kits.  This had to occur somewhere in the last view mods, from BP balancer to general biffing because the kits were present after I loaded level1NPC.  If I rerun level1NPC now they are not present now, but the kit list for level1NPC does have blanks as if some kits in the middle got deleted.

The BWS override folder has no changed KitsID and Kitlist.  It is as if no custom kits were loaded at all yet the Weidu log shows the kits were loaded.

I will do another installation - maybe I somehow corrupted this one.  If that doesn't work I will try again will all the TDD and ROT kits as maybe not loading them is causing an issue.  I can also try to pinpoint what mod caused the issues.  I can probably use level1NPC as my testing tool.

Well you have used the Generalized Biffing. MEANING that you have biffed the override folder of the game. Meaning that the game data instead of being in the Gameinstallfolder/override - folder, is now in the  Gameinstallfolder/data/ folder in the tb#****.bif files. Mostly, there's also the vanilla .bif files that the original game has and other things....

Like I said, --change-log the "kit.ids" file(none of that KitsID, or Kitlist stuff, it needs to be the exact file). And we can try to help you. I too have two profiles in this forum, and was a guest called "the Imp", it really doesn't matter what happened to the old one, just get a new, with a new email account, those too will expire at times, like mines did years ago... or use an upload site that allows you to upload archives do we can download them.
