Not in the spell I made they don't. The probability is 100, the effect is damage to Everybody, and I've tried a bunch of other opcodes, nada. Well, I don't suppose we can figure out why that happens and when, but I wonder if there is something global effects are particularly useful for - more useful than an effect within a spell ability with Everybody as the target?

If you want Kreso to actually help you, you might want to attachs files(.zip archives of the mod files) that he can open and make suggestions to... I myself have problems attaching files to here, but you might not. And any other site that can provide file uploads to archives to link will work too.
Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Global is kind of a largely used term, and easy to make mistakes with, you might have to be more specific.
You could as a last resort have a spell/item that spawns an invisible (null animation) creature for a couple seconds, running scripts that help accomplish what you wish.

Invisible creatures have nothing to do with it. What I'm trying to do is have a spell apply some area-wide effects, called Global Effects, outside of Spell Abilities. I don't have anything to attach, it's just a damage effect I put in the spell, after I'd tried a few others. Nothing happens. I wonder what those Global Effects can accomplish at all.
