Hi, all,

I've encountered bug that didn't manage to solve by myself. I made main quest line in outer areas and entered BG (AR7800). When I try to travel between city areas I encounter CTD just after autosave in the moment when I should see the worldmap. I can move to other city areas through sewers: I easily reached BG center, worldmap was updated - all is Ok. But if I move to map edge and try to travel in usual way - CTD. Nothing in baldur.err or TobEX.log.  Crash with every transition area at the edges. No problems out of the BG cilty.

I think this is not broken area/creature because I can enter city parts in 'alternative' way. Worldmap problem? Transition trigger script problem?

Need advice, where to look..

Found. New travel system between Baldur's Gate City areas v1.0d was guilty. Reason was found by Lollorian here http://www.shsforums...e-7#entry579881

Problem is that BG_Travel is installed quite early and reinstalling whole BiG World is quite a time and is risky from the point of view of breaking saves.

So my fix:

1. Remove broken travel triggers from BG city areas in NearInfinity. They are clearly visible as "Z!Travel....".

2. Got fixed and updated to newer WeiDU version mod (it is BG_Travel v2.1 and it seems Ok) and renamed it. For example to BG_Travel2 in my case.

3. Installed this 'new' mod over biffed game. This is not a problem because of adding just about ten files to Override.

Have travelling between city areas working again.

N.B. If someone encountering this problem and in save has some city areas visited, it is required to remove broken triggers from saved .ARE files too or in visited areas CTD will still occur. After removal everything will be Ok, but for visited areas travel mechanic will use old-school BG method.
