In Spell Ability.

Anybody know if that does anything? For that matter, I've tried setting it for magic items, but I guess it must be done in a special way, because the items remained one-shot.

Well, did you try making it ranged and each shot removes a charge ... ? Similar to the few other spells, like fireseeds, and energy blades ?

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Do you know or are you guessing again? Fire Seeds creates an inventory item, it's the same with Minute Meteors and others of that sort.

Yeah, it works, generally speaking. You have a field for each of three header-level charge abilities. *However* (and this is important), if you are creating your item via the console to test it rather than installing it via more methodical means, it will tend to have one charge and thus be a bogus test. (Yes, I am guessing, like the Imp, but you didn't exactly provide a plethora of detail.)

Why is it there for spells?

A few more details would be nice. Or even an example would be great.

I am looking, and not seeing any. As it's said to be unused.

He may be talking about the Parameter 1 field, which in some cases is used for "charges" in spells (in one of your examples, for the created object for Fire Seeds and similar spells). Fire Seeds, for example, creates 4 "charges" (actually separate stacked items) of fireseed.itm which explode when you use them. I assume this works, otherwise the description would be inaccurate.

"Casting the Fire Seed spell creates 4 fire seeds that will appear in the caster's inventory."

If you know the number of charges does nothing, why not just say it? You keep asking for details when it's perfectly clear what the question is.

As far as Fire Seeds etc. go, they use the create inventory item (or whatever is the exact name) opcode, just as the description says.

We don't know what you're talking about (still).

It isn't.

Why is it so hard for you to post a screenshot or a detailed example of what you're talking about? It kinda just seems like trolling otherwise at this point.
