Has anyone played it? Does anyone have a review? I'm really curious about it.

Do you plan to do it in old game or EE/EET?

Anyway, it starts after you finished the Cloakwoof Mines when you visit Friendly Arm Inn area. Outside the main gate you find an elf priestess Jet'laya asking for help.

You need to take her into the party (temporarily for the initial quest) to start the story. The mod consists of a series of quests, some have new areas but much of it happens in already known areas. You can only do one quest after another, i.e. you always get a hint to the next episode after you finished one. You can kick Jet'Laya out again after you rescued her sister - each new quest offers you an NPC or two who can join your party, but you need not accept them if you do not want (if you want interactive NPCs that have some dialogues and a story etc you do not want them - they have no more contents than hello and goodbye dialogues.).

You can do the quests (recue Jet'laya's sister, Dragon of Nashkel, Vampire Castle, dwarf/drow tunnels) any time you want but in that sequence only. This allows you to play the mod *alongside* the main story with some diversion to the extra areas in each episode.

Depending on which is your base game, the balancing of the mod in your game may vary - it is a very old mod but it has been *polished* in the EET context, so the renovated version is better than the original. In any case it can be challenging but not overpowered (The Lich, Dragon, Vampires or drow are not like their BG2 counterparts but quite moderate.) The items you can gain are useful but not otherwordly.

Overall, it is a *classic* quests/dungeion crawl mod - and if you want some more contents added to the BG1 part of the game this is a mod to add. The story itself is pretty straight forward, comparable to Durlag's Tower.

There are old BG1 areas being edited and reused.

But these quests are good for experience, you can get 1-2 levels.

These missions are for good aligned characters, I am usually playing by evil character, so it hurts me to kill vampires or banshee.

PS Last time I even didn't kill vampires couple, but joined them by console to party (Sandrah NPC wasn't against it :lol2: ) and edited by EE Keeper:-)
