While digging through BWS preparing for a 2017 run I have noticed that most of the Tactics components are marked as being overwriting. This piqued my interest because this is bloody 2017, who would keep overwriting shit around, so I checked and found out that Tactics, indeed, does. So, am I missing some little thing like "Tactics Redone" or "Improved Tactics", or nobody actually cared to gave that venerable thing facelift it deserves?

If you use the BiG-World-Fixpack, it fix the tp2 to patch instead of overwriting

 

and there is a remake for EE (Tactics2_for_EE-alpha73) that may work for vanilla, if you edit the tp2 to remove the check for bg2ee

Thanks for pointing this out Ikki, that's great to know! I checked Fixpack before but apparently didn't dig deep enough, now I found fixed .tp2 for Tactics and indeed it takes care of overwriting. I'll be happy to toggle all that sweet Tactics subcomponents back in BWS!
