**Attached is my log file, and the install debug**

Question - am I able to manually install:
aTweaks 451
rouge rebalancing 491

These both failed.  The rogue rebalancing I'm not as concerned with, but the aTweaks does quite a bit of important stuff.  I'm worried that the generalized biffing might prevent me from doing any more installations?  However, I haven't run the big world install .bat yet to do the cleanup (which, if I recall, makes it impossible to uninstall or install anything else at that point).

Thanks!

I know that a couple of other things failed too, but most were because I am only doing BG2, so those are fine.  However, cdtweaks I *think* was one as well.  but don't know where to find out if that is the case.

According to your weidu.log and debug you have installed cdtweaks - open weidu.log with a text editor and search for cdtweaks, it will find a section where all the components from that mod are listed which you have installed.

Technically speaking you should be able to install aTweaks on top of your game, the only issue may be in SCS, cdtweaks, a rweaks install sequence - you should check the readme's if there are details about issues with install sequence.

And a hint - NEVER use the cleanup from biffing. Even in a biffed game you can add mods if they have no limitations from install sequence but only if you keep the data and the backup files that were created. Cleanup removes files that make your game directory smaller in size but static in the way you are then stuck with the game as it is and not able to change anything anymore. (If you are happy with that restriction then forget about my advice.)

PS - what I said about aTweaks applies for RR just as well.

I did an install yesterday and I had to manually extract both aTweaks and RR using latest BWS commit. About to redo this due to SCS out of memory issues and will post my findings or start a new topic?

The download links and new versions for those two mods have changed recently. The mods are now in self extracting zips. This may be the issue BWS stumbles across.

I will link your report to the BWS discussion, maybe it helps.

i'll start a game and see how it plays, then install aTweaks and RR on top of stuff and see how it goes.  How would I test integrity though?

I thought I added the 'Level 1 NPCs' mod.  WHen NPC's join, they aren't setting to level one and letting me level them up.  Is this one broken?

This should work now

replaced BWS download links for aTweaks and RR to "platform independent" versions.

I've just tried to install a "Maximised" EET installation (with the addition of Sandra Mod and it's patch, Drizzt Saga, and Dark Horizons) but it fails when it tries to install EET with this error:

This is identical to

http://gibberlings3....topic=28822&hl=

It is either related to recent BWS updates or the use of Weidu241 since a day or so. Analysis is ongoing but currently no solution has been published.

Just a quick question - which directories did you install the games to?

Looks unsuspicious, just wanted to make sure there is not a UAC issue with file protection that prevents EET to change files.

Yeah I'm experienced in modding games so I'm savvy enough to avoid that issue.

It looks like the issue has been found. The update of weidu to 2.41. Using the previous version 2.40 works.

Ok good to know, I guess I'll wait until the problem with Weidu is fixed then.
