Need help adding vampire female & male animation to bg1ee

Its invisible in bg1/sod.

Hi,

 

Im having issue with some creatures who wont appear in bg1ee/sod.

Like vampire female and male.

Actually the other way around i have some issues to, like half dragon.

 

How can i do this correct? Is it because i by mistake deleted bg1ee and only play that part via sod?

I did copied all the picture/animation files from vampires into bg1ee/sod override folder. Still dont work :S Its invisible...

Some script changes animation when sod starts...

EE games don't only need creature BAM files, but also ini files:

 

- vampire: MVAM bam files and 7F12.ini

- vampire female: MVAF bam files and  7F22.ini

The .ini files 7f12.ini and 7f22.ini are supposed to be in all EE games, except PSTEE. Well, maybe also except some very old versions.

Yeah... actually, it would be easier to see anything with the help of a mirror, better, than without one...

Except for vampires, I think you'll find, at least according to traditional lore.

Well, how would you tell if a person is a vampire without a mirror ? Would you be able to tell if someones is one by not looking at one, with and without one ? Don't see a reflection, kill. See one that reflects like a diode in reflected sun light, kill.

Kill the mutant, burn the heretic and purge the unclean. With a reign of bullets and fire.

7F12 and 7F22.INI exist in both my SOD and BG2EE.

Is there something not right? I have same problem with forexample Half-Dragon. Which only exists in my SoD version. Not BG2EE...

.rar... really not a file you should attach. It's a .ini file, a text file with a different extension... you can open the file with Notepad and copy paste the text in it to a message, just like I have done.

 

Now then, when you want to the animation from those games to a nonSoD-BG1EE ... I don't understand why though, cause most future players will install EET on top of both and the BG2EE... and play that way, but anyways... you need to copy that file, and the files named in it. Aka, say you wish to copy the red half-dragon animation, which is the e26a.ini, this:

Which among other files, names: wal_24.wav, wal_24a.wav, wal_24b.wav, wal_24c.wav, bf_md01a.wav, bf_md02a.wav and bf_md03a.wav ... the other files(hdrag01a.wav, hdrag01b.wav etc) don't at least exist in my version of the game.

The animation files are there... mdh2a1.bam -24 files between- mdh2wke.bam .

So you export those files from your game with Near Infinity for example, and make a "modname" named folder where you make a second folder called subfolder into where you put the files into. Then make a new .txt file and open it with Notepad... and rename/save_as that as a setup-modname.tp2 ... setup a quick install, for example:

BACKUP ~modname/backup~
AUTHOR ~Gel87~
BEGIN ~Half-Dragon inport~
COPY ~modname/subfolder~ ~override~

And take any of the other setup-*modname*.exe's if you have previously installed mods into it, and rename it as setup-modname.exe, and set it besides the modname -folder. Then copy both of those into your BG2EE game folder and run the setup-modname.exe ... and it will then install the weidu mod you have just made. The setup-*.tp2 file can be in the modname folder, while the setup-modname.exe needs to be outside. And of course the *modname* in this example iswhateveryouwishittobe. 

 

And then you of course need to make what ever uses the animation. ... :D
