I apologize in advanced which will likely be a newb question, but I couldn't find info to help me.

Picked up BG1/BG2 -EE and finally the IWD-EE so I am ready to give this a play from now into the holidays! I used BWS successfully for BG1-EE and BG2-EE on recommended settings.

However, I have the following issue with Icewind Dale-EE on recommended settings:

- restored a fresh backup

- Test of available downloads finds all selected downloads found

- on the extraction, I get the following errors

The extraction of the following mod(s) failed:
Generalized Biffing: The Mod itself (generalized_biffing-master.zip)

Some files were not extracted. Do you want the BWS to run an integrity test on
those files first, provide the files yourself (see remarks) or just continue?
Enter [t]est, [p]rovide or [c]ontinue.

I test it, and it says it's intact. I open the generalized_biffing-master.zip file and unzip, no issues.  How do I (p)rovide or fix this?
the only thing I can see is there seems to be 2 folders indented instead of 1? "generalized_biffing-master" then "generalized_biffing subfolder"

The following originally selected mods could not be installed:

Mod: Generalized Biffing
Component: Generalized Biffing (pack files into archives so the game can load faster)
Component: Biff all files (practically essential for installations with many mods)

Mod: Tweaks Anthology
Component: Do Not Reveal City Maps When Entering Area

Please let me know what I should do to get that mod installed correctly or what I should provide for troubleshooting.

Thx

ok, a little mod work and reading and I think I figured it out.

Repacked the folders for generalized_biffing-master to bring up the folder generalized_biffing to the top..worked!
Argent77-A7-LightingPackEE-82f4fb7 folder didin't work, so brought out the Lightingpack folder to the top....worked!

The only remaining issue was:
Reveal City Maps didn't work, said it wasn't applicable...

The city maps are in deed not applicable for IWD and should be skipped. BWS should not offer them.

And I think that biffing should not be used at all - it does not hurt, but the EE games gain nothing from it.

Thank you for reporting - there is little feedback for IWD support by BWS, so it can be improved.

There is a mod called "House Rules for IWDEE" which has a component for revealing the village maps. That's the one I use, it works great.

Would I need to post this somewhere else for the loader to be tweaked?

House Rules is already part of BWS selection for IWDEE

City maps and biffing have been removed as not applicable, thanks to your report.

The issue about Lightning Pack, I have no idea what went wrong, but Argent77 is active member around this forum and surely will take action if required.
