"Unlikely" is not "No".

 

Points 1 + 3 may not be valid anymore.

 

Point 4 could be solved just like you already described.

Looks like Roxanne was right.

 

There seems to be a mod already to cover Cealar, just learned about this today

Except for the title of the mod *The Fallen Light*, I could not see much reference to Caelar?

 

Anyway, if there already is work going on, my project will stay in the vaults.

Just bear in mind that I'm not willing to disclose too much right now because things are still very subject to change but it is a BG2-only mod. I am not modifying SoD's plot and it would actually make things harder for me since I would then have to take any changes in SoD into account as well.

This is what the other mod's author stated (Artemius). It means that SoD alternative is not a problem, right?

SoD part

The way my mod deals with SoD Alternative is such that it does not change the SoD outcome and main plot.

- At no point Caelar would join the party while you work with her.

- In the.vanilla game one of the options in the final fight is to side with Caelar against the traitor and the end boss.

 

~So be it! The child of Bhaal and the Shining Lady will stand together against this devil's darkness!~

 

Then a number of globals are set. This is exactly where my deviation ends, i.e. the rest of SoD follows one of the official outcomes of the campaign.

Any BG2 mod thus would find the game unchanged. The deviation is between states 46 and 63 in BDCaelar.dlg.

 

ToB part

Can be made optional component, It is triggered by a global set during SoD. So a user can select the SoD part + the other mod for BG2 without problems.

Hi,

I've encountered a bug that is preventing me from progressing the game. It appears to have to do with the Corwin NPC mod I have installed. A copy of my WeiDU is also attached. I am running a heavily modded EET game installed using BWS. 

I encounter the bug shortly after the start of SOD. After Imoen is attacked by assassins, Corwin runs in to save the day. After the enemies are killed, Corwin then starts a conversation over and over, with the only response available being 'NO VALID REPLIES OR LINKS'. Screenshot below. Selecting this option closes the dialogue and she immediately starts it again. It just loops over and over.

I spoke with Corwin once upon entering Baldurs Gate back in BGEE, but chose not to take her into the party. I haven't seen or spoken to her since then. This is my second encounter with this npc. 

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. As I mentioned, I cant seem to progress the game until this is fixed.

Note: I have tried ctrl + y. It appears Corwin cannot be killed to solve this. I also tried charming her. All I manage to get is save vs. spell.http://files.fm/u/5wtxwcfd
