I talked to the Priest of Ogden guy, I talked to the Umar Hills bookseller (priest added a journal entry, bookseller did not).

When I put Isra's body and Bhodi's heart on the alter, she comes back, but she's red (hostile) and attacks me.

Not sure what's going on here.  I've tried reloading (quit/restart) a few times.  I tried waiting for a bit to see if something was acting like a charm spell, I tried casting Dispel Magic (lol), I tried killing her again.

Nothing seems to work.

Help please?

Running BG2 EE with a few mods (Isra, Dace, Return to spellhold, a few others - all are listed as compatible with EE/each other).

You can try this

Put the attached file into BG2EE/override

Load a save from before you put heart and body into the altar, then try again.

If it does not work, you best post a save game here (after you defeated Bodhi + before you put the things on the altar).

That did, much obliged.  She was red for like, half a second, then turned blue and I could talk to her.  Seems normal; I'm going to run through the rest of her quest now, hopefully it'll be smooth sailing from here.

Just to satisfy my own curiosity, what did that override file do, exactly?  Just kind of like, blanket-reset for where all the variables were supposed to be, to fix whatever happened to be borked?

To make clear, this was not a fix for the mod since it just added

Wait(1)
ChangeEnemyAlly("rh#isra2",NEUTRAL)

To the cutscene that restores he cleanse.bcs).

To provide a *real fix* one would need a save game of the situation to analyze exactly the state Isra has while being absent. It may be necessary to set other globals or restore scripts as well.

Anyway, if you are able to continue with her, this might not be the case.

Interesting.  Well, that seems to have permanently worked - she ran through the bard talk / redemption thing just fine, got her paladin class back, etc.

Now I'm just curious what could have been the issue.

Just spitballing here, but now that I think about it, when I've done the Bhodi event in the past, I sooort of remember that the Romanced Character has a short dialogue when you confront Bhodi in her lair?  I don't recall getting anything like that with Isra.  However I happened to level to 18 staking the last vampire upstairs, so I rested and kinda went nuts with time stop / improved alacrity for the bhodi fight itself and nuked a lot of stuff, including Isra, right away.  Maybe she had a dialogue that she was supposed to say there and her not saying it borked things?

The issue may be in the way you killed Isra Vampire. You can check this global C:GetGlobal("rh#IsraVampire","GLOBAL"),

It is supposed to be 5 after the rescue and all. It is possible that it was not set to 3 when the vampire died during time stop and then the return sequence was interrupted.
