So i wanted to throw out Xan for a while to take in Jet'laya and he wandered away saying we will not meet again and that the whole journey was pointless, and that he paid his debt, so i cannot recruit him back. I thought it might be reputation case since i had 20, so i changed it to 14 then 10 - always the same result, i cannot recruit him back. Is there any way to invite him back?

~BG1NPC/BG1NPC.TP2~ #0 #16 // The BG1 NPC Project: NPCs can be sent to wait in an inn.

The Sandrah Saga

Morally, no. But when has that been an obsticle for us? Of course with the cheat console, enabling the cheat commands with this command;
If you are on traditional BGT-weidu game:
CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys()

Or with EE-games pass the v2... update with:
C:EnableCheatKeys()

And then you just use Ctrl+Q while the cursor is on top of the character you want to join your party with.

Won't work.... cause that needs to be installed before you hire the character(or rather enter the area where character is originally).

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

I need to make him respawn first, since when i leave him he goes away, disapears completely. How to summ him back?

Will using Ctrl+Q will not make his talks reset or bug some way?

Another option is only to leave jaheria and khalid for some ntotsc quests, but i'd prefer not to.

When you need to summon, it's likely that you might need to replay though some of the dialogs...
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("<string>")

Where the string is the entry from the list called "npclevel.2da", where your characters level is the number at the top, the file can be seen in your game folders override folder, or if you use the old BG2, where you have to biff the files, it can be opened with Near Infinity.

So, likely either one of these:

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("xan4")

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("xan6")

In EE-games:

C:CreateCreature("xan4")

C:CreateCreature("xan6")

Cheers, looks like it's khalid and jaheira to sit out then.

If i leave them and later invite them back, that should not affect any talks with them anyhow, is that correct?

Edit: I use BGT with BG1 npc project of course.

Do i need Jet'laya to do DSotSC main quests or it's enough to just let her join, discover areas thanks to this, then i can drop her?

You need her for the first quest (finding her sister). You take the necklace from the dead sister and bring it to the uncle in Beregost. You can now drop Jet'Laya and restore your old party. You need none of the other DSotSC NPCs who offer to join you.
