So I'm testing a new kit and everything works fine except I get this error message when installing.

There obviously is no @91... line in my tp2 file or any other file (baf, d,..) and I get the message even when completely removing all tra references...

Anyone seen this before?

PS: this is my current wip tp2 file

If you copied your spl or pro or cre from some existing resource (e.g. with NI) you may have left some string in one of them, especially if the source was from some modded game where a spell may have triggered display of an overhead text or such.

Your mod.debug file may help you to narrow it down (not always...but worth looking at).

The debug file didn't help.
I am also pretty certain it has nothing todo with my items/spells.
I've cut the tp2 file down to the bare minimum, without any items/spells/cre copies and I still get that error..

Her is the super cut tp2 file version, I really am at a loss as to what causes the issue.

(I looked at fl#add_kit_ee.tpa but there is nothing in there that suggests it might be the cause of the problem)

Update: I even get that error message when I'm NOT installing the kit at all.

So I load the WeidU exe, and then select Quit (instead of Install) and I still get the error?

It looks like WeiDU is looking for a .tra file for the installation process itself, but I can't see why or where?

I have sometimes seen it in large install as it kind of *loops* through from previous mods. You can see it in case you have other mods installed prior to your own. Only way to test it is to uninstall and re-install the mod prior to your own and see if it is already there.

I had once this problem with the AUTO_TRA spelling.

AUTO_TRA ~Diamant_Eternel/Tra/%s~ works, but AUTO_TRA ~%MOD_FOLDER%/Tra/%s~ produced the same No translation error. Maybe one of the previously installed mods contains this kind of bad code.

- Interesting. I need to check that next time I see such an error.

- The @900001 may also point at something in an IDS or 2da file (also worldmap.tbl, but Ulb does not touch those with his mod), where modders in the past often put a dummy value that afterwards was to be REPLACE_TEXTUALLY with a tra reference, If that failed or was not filled, the 900001 had no text.

In my opinion the whole code is bad, the reason being that as the %MOD_FOLDER% usually is defined by something, but if the translated file is not in the same mod folder, it's bad. Everytime. Say like the component name a mod has.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

I just installed it on a different BGEE instance and it installed without errors..

Would have never guessed that it might have been caused by another mod, thanks a lot for the help guys!
