Are those applied automatically after character creation or are they maintained so long as the race is right? If an elf switches to a dwarf with effect 72, is he going to lose the bonuses?

The bonuses come from the racethac.2da in EE games ... and I don't think that just changing the ids flag will do/undo the bonus.
