BGTMusic... is it okay to install this after the new ascension?

Because I accidentally installed ascension without installing it. Both the BWP manual and BWS installs it before. It doesn't seem very important though. But the BWP manual says it extends the sound tables and such and that it needs to be installed before NPC's and quests and all that so that they know where the sounds are placed. Does that concern ascension also?
