What the topic says. I can make a FAMILIAR follow, or possibly script some special transfers and jumps, but I need a regular following behavior for a creature that's neutral, or GOODBUTBLUE at most, wherever they go.

You don't. Well... in theory you would make the creature script to follow the player char until say the area ends... like they did in the start of the BG2 game, where the only real option was to escort the shopkeeper out of the dungeon, but then something happened and that was it. You can use the same, mechanisms, you "trap the creature" to an area where they follow the player char and then when they walk into another zone the creature either turns back if the player walks to a wrong route or exits the area to a set another area. This will make your life a miserable existense ...

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Do any other allegiances besides FAMILIAR travel between areas with the party freely? If I could get GOODBUTBLUE to do it, I might be able to make the creature ignore enemies of the party and so behave as if NEUTRAL. I want a blue circle. Does "Travel between areas" help? If not, then I guess I'll have to resort to a definite area for the creatures to walk out and through and vanish with LUA.
