The Edwin Romance mod updates to v2.11 with several bugfixes.

Download at SHS

Download from official GitHub SHS MIrror

Changes:

- PID flirts should not end abruptly but switch to PC's set dialogue as intended.
- Removed the timer check from the LT trigger block (is already checked in initiation script block; morning after dialogues should not check timer).
- Journal entries of Edwin's quest will be removed correctly (moved entries into game.tra and bundled them under one title for EE.)
- compatibility with Ascension 2.0.8 (old comp code removed as it was no longer necessary).

Me again. Not ENTIRELY sure if this is a bug or not, but Edwin's leaving-over-reputation dialogue has been firing over and over again, even despite his alignment change to Neutral. I don't know if this was ever implemented in the early versions of the mod, but I think being able to keep Edwin (relatively) happy in a party with high reputation was supposed to be one of the benefits to changing his alignment, right? Did this get lost in the shuffle?

It's not anything game-breaking so it can probably wait for the next update, but it is a little annoying to have him threaten to leave every few battles, haha. Is there a specific variable I can set to make him stop, by any chance?

Would you be so kind and quote the first sentence of his leaving because of rep dialogue?

Ah, so sorry. Forgot to check back here! He says, "So is this to be it, then? (Only a true fool would not realize my importance)."

Thanks! This is the normal leaving dialogue, but since the "leave forever" dialogue is disabled for romance, I gues he is trying to leave due to reputation. Although you can take him in every time I do aree that it's getting annoying.

One more question: Are you playing on enhanced edition (BGII:EE or EET)? The leaving due to rep thing seems to work differently there, this could be one reason why it isn't working fo you and the mod needs an update.

I'm playing regular BG2:EE. :) Thanks for looking into this, Jastey. For what it's worth, it seems that this behavior doesn't carry over into ToB, so long as his alignment remains True Neutral. Or, if it does, I haven't encountered it yet (I'm still in Gromnir's Castle and have only seen two lovetalks from Edwin so far).

Almost instantly (cough) I looked into this and indeed, it's the way EE handles leaving of NPCs due to rep. This will be fixed in the next version!
