When I played IWD1 I used the script compiler to create my own scripts, and it worked excellent and made the characters really feel "mine" without my having to pause very often and minutely control combat...

Is there a compiler that works with IWD2? I couldn't find one with the game and although the first one seems to compile okay and the script shows in the list, it doesn't work with IWD2.

I realize this forum is dedicated to the Infinty Engine but you're all very intelligent people and I was hoping someone could direct me in the right direction.

TIA

IWD2 does use the Infinity Engine. However, since I only played it for about 15 min before being bored silly I never bothered to remember where I've seen a compiler for it. Maybe it'll be some help to you that you can find a shwack of scripting info for it over at Cirerrek's Site. Hope that gets you halfway there.

Both NI and WeiDU should be able to compile IWD2 scripts for you. I believe WeiDU at one point was having some trouble with some IWD2 actions and/or triggers that had many arguments, but that might be fixed now.
