You may have read about this before, but Banter Packs: Part Deux (BPPD) is a little ongoing project of mine that will basically contain new banters, interjections and whatever miscellaneous dialogue you want between non-Bioware NPC mods. The point of this is to make the install order easier. Basically all you have to do is install your NPC mods and then at the end install BPPD and install the components for the NPCs you want.

The reason I've chosen to announce this is so that if any modder(s) wants to add dialogue between two NPCs then post here (or PM me) with the dialogue and dialogue filenames and I'll code it up and add it to the current version.

Different types of dialogue:

- Banter e.g. Delainy and Tashia having a chat
- Miscellaneous interjections e.g. Harvey interjecting into Aklon's quest
- Romance conflict (Interjections and full-on conflict banters) e.g. Inara complaining that you are flirting with Delainy

A few final notes: Please don't write dialogue for someone elses NPC unless the two of you have worked together on it or they have given their permission for dialogue to be written for that NPC (e.g. Don't write dialogue for Kelsey unless you and Jason have worked together on it or Jason has given you permission/approved the dialogue). Secondly, could we not have dialogue between NPCs that aren't at least in beta testing yet (otherwise it'll just get ridiculous).

nice! But.. well, wouldnt it be better if the first releases have bantering between finished NPCs? like Tashia and Solaufein? Cos if you make banters with Tashia and Dlainy... well I see a problem there until Delainy is released :)

Well that was just an example. The nice thing about the tp2 coding is that it automatically installs the material for NPCs you have installed so if you install BPPD last then it'll install the correct material without you needing to think about it.

Therefore, Delainy beta-testers will be pleasantly suprised with new material but people who aren't beta-testing Delainy won't even notice that there was material that COULD have been installed (unless they read the readme but lets face facts, thats not gonna happen).

But anyway there isn't any material in BPPD at the moment. Feel free to give me a shout if you want any added (Go on, you know you want to!). Just remember, no writing for other people's NPCs without permission!

Another interesting feature of this mod, will be shown when Viconia Relationship-Tiefling Sisters (Both mods at Gibberling Three) material is eventually written. The Viconia Relationship mod will allow a friendship and possible romance for female PCs. The new material would allow a romance between Viconia and Inara (who is bisexual). It wouldn't be included in the Tiefling Sisters because people might not want Viconia to be bisexual. However if you have installed Viconia Relationship then you have accepted that she is, and therefore a Viconia-Inara romance is ok.

Heh, you do have one thing correct, Immortality, in that I wouldn't mind expanding what I have Tashia say to include other established, non-BioWare NPC's. Of course, it would be nice to get Tashia's material coded, which won't happen until Del is finished ;-)

The other problem is that with non-BioWare NPC's, it wouldn't be right to work on dialogues without the permission and/or the participation of the NPC's creator.
