I?m not sure that this is the right forum for this (it?s not a mod idea, just a kit), but it seemed the best fit. If this is the wrong forum, please feel free to move it.

I have a custom kit for an npc that I?m creating. Since I?m not exactly the best judge of balance, I though I?d post the kit here, and see what other people think.

The kit is an elven Huntsman, a fighter/thief kit (a hybrid of a couple of different versions). The description is: ?Although some call them bounty hunters, the Huntsmen know better. Their chief joy in life is the hunt, and they have trained themselves in the ways of life: fighting and stealth. A Hunstman is at home in both the city and the wilderness. His job is to track down errant wrongdoers and bring them to justice. He can be good, evil, or neutral; he may ethically bring criminals to face the law or hunt them just for money. Whether he is good or not good, his motivation is more the thrill of the hunt than material gain.?

Advantages: +10% to both Move Silently and Hide in Shadows skills. Gains the same special snare that the bounty hunter gets.
Disadvantages: -2 reaction penalty (done as a penalty to charisma, but for an npc this is really meaningless), no pickpocket skill, cannot wear armor greater than studded leather. If I use the bounty hunter restrictions, it will also limit the number of thief skill point at level up (if I understand the way this works). Since points are not going into pickpocket, this seems reasonable.

I was also thinking of implementing something like the tranquilizer darts from Avenger?s Rogue ReBalancing mod. This fits with one the versions I used as a reference.

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.

You could make it as a Ranger kit, but drop the Charm Animal and maybe casting that Rangers get in exchange for some traps/darts/backstab.
