Very tricky. You'd have to make all the new animations...how hard would it be to create a centor for BGII? half man, half horse.

Heh
how come you always look so damn cool in every photo I see you in?!?
Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.
Still a cyberjock, still hacking the matrix, still unsure of what that means.

It'd be a challenge, but not impossible.

With animations there are several things to consider. The animation files for the IE are BAM formats, BMP's spread over a 3D frame,Well, there is a horse animation already in the game (it just....stands there), so if you just chop off its head and neck, then add the upper torso and head....
It'd be a challenge, but not impossible.
A native 3D (common format at least) is 3DS which is much better to use as there are no colour gradients, muscles or whatnot, you are in omplete control.
Carving up existing animations is bad form and not very easy to do.

Bad form or not; if it works then its all good.
If one gets really desperate, Adobe and BamWorkshop do the trick.
I never said it would be easy, just that creating a centaur isn't impossible.
So says the drow rogue.
