How can I add new creature anmations from different IE games (IWD2 for example) or simply replace the current ones in BG2? It would be useful if someone could add a tutorial about this into the correcponding section of the forum. ;)

Thanks for any help.

Depends how lazy you are TG, a good starting point are these two:-
PST - http://tutorials.tea...opentut&tutID=7
This will need Randats (?) resizer
IWD - http://tutorials.tea...pentut&tutID=10

As for Non IE games, I'm in the process of looking at this now, with a few animations from Fallout II and what not.

What I would ask is that, I shall try and place one together, to remember that this is an area that isn't as well explored as the rest. IEDSP only has naming conventions for adding PC avatars, not animal or enemy frames.

Lastly, try looking at some of the old teamBG forum stuff as a lot of the known information came from them.

how come you always look so damn cool in every photo I see you in?!?

Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.

Still a cyberjock, still hacking the matrix, still unsure of what that means.

Which depends on the nature of the work! :P

Thanks for the links and info Seif!

BTW, somewhat offtopic:
How are you proceeding with the creation of the Hydra? Where would you like to start? As I remember, ToEE has a nice and fitting Hydra animation, just a little bit small compared to the party.

The hydra idea has been dropped, a few excursions down that idea revealed I'd be taking on something of the magnitude of a BGII dragon.

No chance. The ones from ToEE also suck in my opinion. I might extract them and resize them, given a chance to do so and if I actually consider reinstalling the game =)

Since the links in Seif's first post are dead (they led to teamBG), I'd like to ask for another link where I can download/read a tutorial about this subject.

Many thanks,
TG

Seif: Maybe you could post them to the tutorials board, if they are not available elsewhere?

I've gotten a whole host of stuff but am seeking various permissions before adding them all.

The ones in question are from Mortis. The only emails I've had from him recently are virus infected attachments.

And I'd rather spend a few hours on a massive update then adding small dribbles here and there.

Hi, I would also like some of those tutorials sent if you could. I would really like to use the change animation function in IEEP, but can't find the numbers corresponding to the various creature animations. My e-mail is evernex_shifter@yahoo.com. I'd really appreciate some help on that. Thanks.

Just so you know (I don't know how this affects things), but I am registered. Just posting to show that. :D

There are a few free slots in bg2 which don't need any overwrites.

True, but BP fills all the slots up again. If you want compatibility...

there there at least until the authors either A) object, or B) make tose resource available again to the community. they are EXACTLY (except for links) as they were on teambg. I changed nothing.
