I think it probably should either be animated or 3d since most actors wouldnt exactly fit into these roles

we dont want the governator as TNO

Ron Perlman as TNO?

Nah if they were gonna do it, it should be animated.

And get someone like Miyazaki to do it

Oh I don't know, they can do some pretty amazing things in movies now with mixes of animation and live action (though they can pull off some really horendous stuff as well . Gollum versus Jam Jar whatsi :) ) ..

Casting.. well it would have to be (assuming she could still squeeze into skin tight stuff and has some hidden acting ability).. Sheena Easton as Annah

Brad Pitt as Trieste (pretty sure I'm remembering the name of the that fallen deva wrong but am to lazy atm to go and look it up :P )

Namless one.. Hmm.. Can't really think of a major star who would be truly fit.. maybe Vigo Mortenson..

(swaying just a little, ok a lot, off topic.. but still a bioware game and a film related bit.. Just played a demo for KOTOR .. does anyone else who's played this wish that it had been Bioware who directed the prequel movies.. The dialogue from that game was orders of magnitude better than anything from the prequel movies)

Ravell .. hmm, Miriam Margolys (sp?) would seem to fit exactly, think she was in the Harry Potter Fillms (though I haven't seen them, I'm sure I saw her in one of the endless film plugging shorts that pop up at odd hours off the schedule) for anyone who doesn't know who I'm talking about .. oh, and she would have been the family pack ;) size british lady.. if she was .. She also does incredible amounts of voices so would be able to pull off something suitable..

or Dawn French maybe :)

it'd definately have to be animated... But should it be 3d or handdrawn

I have a problem with an anime style of it... it just wouldnt fit well in the planescape setting... we'll end up getting a cross between dragon half and Vampire hunter D

Well I wouldn't mind if it was anime, but computer generated in the same style as the game only in 3D would be best (either is good so long as it is done well). In my opinion it would just not work as a live action piece, at least not as well.

As for the voices... Go for the originals! :D The same people who did the voices in the game do them for the movie.

Morte would LOVE that, huh chief

I like the Tim Burton idea... what about studio Gainax? Or even David Lynch writing it

though the ladder might make it alittle... hard to understand

Nah, Gilliam would overspend on effects and never finish the film...

On another note:
Kate Beckinsale as Fall-From-Grace?

IMHO, no matter how they did it i would never like it. i think its best to keep it to the game :) and some P&P every now and then. (of corse followups)

you can get the "one armed boxer" (forgot the actors name) to play Dakkon... he was also in Duel to The Death (Kung-fu fans will get it)
