Post any news or updates to Sith Lords here!

And what might be even bigger news, there is a strong possibility of Sith Lords being released in 2004!

First of all, the official site now says "winter" instead of "february 2005". Also, both Gamestop and EB Games have it listed for pre-order with a release date of 12/06/2004.

And finally, IGN mentions this in their weekly Rumour Report, with this quote"According to sources deep within the confines of the Star Wars universe, the sequel to the best Xbox RPG (evar) may appear in stores this year instead of next".

On the official x-box magazine, it says that the game is scheduled to release sometime next year, and I just got the magazine last week... not sure who to believe.

All the same, it doesn't matter to me, I still have yet to beat the first game, and so far it's very fun. :)

I recommend x-box. The only good Computer games are strategies, and RPG-BGII like games. Also, joystickies.

Well, really, most games go with consoles, because you can't really play them with a mouse, and a keyboard. I guarantee that an xbox vs. computer online between KoToR players, xbox would win. You just really need a controller for these type of games.

Of course, that's really just my opinion. If you feel differently, I don't mind.

I recomend a better pc as the only games that play better on consoles are platformers and action adventure games

I have the Xbox version and its not too bad. Had a thing against the slow loading time across the scene but i love the gameplay and storyline. So definitely going to get the expansion when its out, the sooner the better. ^_^

As far as I'm concerned Pc beats everything, because they can be upgraded and do much more and as for what a keyboard and mouse can do... Play Mechwarrior or some other game that has so many controls that it would drive a console player mad

This game will surely rock! Though, I must say this: the system requirements for pc are quite ridiculously big and if you don't have THAT good pc (which I luckily have!) you should stick with x-box 'cause its cheaper than just buying a top modern super pc.

Another snip from http://www.starwarsknights.com/

"Speaking of those oversized deadly glow sticks, a whole new lightsaber system has been added to the game. This new system adds different stances that your lightsaber wielding hero can use, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. In keeping with the “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it stance,” the gentleman demoing the game for me over at the LucasArts booth made it a point that this new lightsaber system was entirely secondary in nature and a player could get through the game without ever moving his character off the default stance."

Conflicting reports about HK, some say he only has a cameo role, others say he is joinable or at least a HK type droid is.

Can't you just see HK as the assist of some unsavory fellow running an assasin's guild akin to the theives' guild you run in BGI?
