I love the character's voice. I reckon they should do some kind of sidestory or something atleast where you see how he had his whole jaw cut off. I don't like the way he says "Bastila" though, he says it like "Bastula" which is a bit annoying.

He's way cooler than ol' whats-his-name from the films, so better that I've forgotten that guy's name! Darth who? Darth Mangy Black Guy That Can't Breathe? Bah.

If he was real I'd take him to parties, he's a babe magnet, what with just getting their (almost) complete loyalty out of a few weeks of torture and all.

Very good. I liked the way towards the end he was portrayed as "the original meatbag" - nothing more than an opportunist upstart.

Tho he should'nt shave with his lightsaber :D

I like him because he's ruthless. I mean, destroying an entire planet just to make sure one person doesn't escape? He's the classic traitorous baddie that uses lies and deceit to get what he wants. And when that fails, he's pretty good with a lightsaber :P I also thought he just looked cool. It was pretty freaky seeing him without his jaw coverup thing on the Star Forge.

No one will ever top Vader for me, as far as Dark Jedi will go.

We all know that the Ultimate Villain is Palpatine...Vader is everyone's favorite because he's the first villain ever to be seen. But he IS very cool.

Vader returns to the light side in the last movie. Malak'd never do that. He's much better. You only like Vader more since he's the original. But I also agree that Palpatine is the ultimate villain. HE was Vader's master, HE took over the whole galaxy. Neither Malak or Vader did that.

If it wasn't for Palpatine taking his time killing Skywakker, the Empire would've won (the Emporer's death actualy made Imperial soldeirs fight less strongly before they knew he had died) and vader would've soon Uspered the Throne from Palpatine. His raw potential was much greater.

You really think so?

Well, now that I think about it, it might be right. After all, Anikin was the one who was going to bring balance to the force. He had an enormous amount of midi-clorians (or whatever it was). He's probably one of the greatest Jedi's ever existed. But the question remains, if he is so strong, why did he fall to the dark side?

Wait for Ep3

But as this is about Malak why do you think that he fell?

Do you honestly think I do something else? I graduate next spring, but EP3 feels more important.

But as this is about Malak why do you think that he fell?

Hungry for power, perhaps. I think he and Revan liked what happened when they saved the republic during the Madalorian wars. They adored the power and the fame they recieved. They wanted more.

But I feel that Revan was the one who wanted it more, the one who fell deeper into the dark side, and that's why Malak was placed behind Revan as his apprentice. Sure, Malak proved his evil when he tried to kill Revan, but I still feel that Revan was more evil. Therefore I also think that the evil ending is more logic. I don't think that there's enough good in Revan's heart for him/her to redeem him/herself.

Really? IMO the good ending fits the game a lot better - but that's probably because I don't like playing evil

Personally I think Revan desired the Star Forge thru a wish to do good, but he and Malak were corrupted by its evil - the flashback with Revan and a jawed Malak on Dantooine clearly shows that at least Malak was not yet evil.

Off topic slightly but there was a cut, fourth ending where an evil female Revan could be redeemed by Carth after defeating Malak - during which Revan would have to face off against Bastilla.

Well, I still believe that the dark side is too strong. But the redemption made by Carth is indeed a very good ending. Sure, the good endings are fitting, of course, but not as fitting as the evil.

EXTREMELY OFF TOPIC: I saw your signature, and I sympatize with you. Urs Meier shouldn't have disallowed that goal. And then lose on penalties... A sidenote; I'm Swedish, so I know exactly how it feels to lose on penalties. After one post and one crossbar in the overtime, it's with bitter feelings I see them lose.

One thing he is one tall bugger 'in'e? (translation "isn't he")
but why is it that the dark jedi always get some sort of speech impediment? I mean Vader spoke through a mask Palpatine had a bit of a lisp as well Malak has half his jaw missing, Jerric (dark Forces 2) hissed a bit when he said any word that ended with an 's'
I apparently have a high level of empathy, combined with a low level of sympathy... weird

Maybe it's because the creators believe that they're more scary with scary voices...
