Just out of curiosity, I wonder what you think of the name. Have I done a good job, or should I leave the naming to others in the future?

EDIT: I voted Very good, of course, since I really think so (I normally have huge problems with naming characters, but I'm quite proud of Khadion, though).

But of course, you can (and probably have) other opinions.

Dammit... Hadn't thought of that... DAMMIT!!!

To my defense, I choosed Khadion before I knew about both Kachiko, Katiara, Keli, Keto, Kiara, Kido, Kitanya and Krondor.

But still, do you (everyone) think I should change the name? And in that case, does anyone have suggestions?

In my mouth 'i' travels and Khadion becomes Khaidon... But then again I'm known to misplace letters on names. :wacko: I think the name is okay as it is, though.

You like the name Khadion, and have started to use it - so I see no need to change. :)

Why not go with Hadion? That cuts out a letter, eliminates the uncertainty in pronounciation and is still the same name as before. On another hand, I agree with Andyr and you can always sent the people who are unhappy with the choice to go talk to Khadion's maman. :)

Well, that's depends where he is from. The name should fit to the culture which he belongs to.

Also it depends if Khadion is his real name or a nick. Khadion it's a fitting name for the southern cultures (Amn, Tethyr), but not a proper one if he is from the north or east. That depends on what story do you want to build for his background. ;)

I'm with Domi here, Hadion would be a bit nicer. But even in that case this name makes me think on the Star Wars galaxy rather than the Forgotten Realms. -_-
