Yeah, I thought it might be a good idea too. So, I'm doing one. So without further ado :
Athlon 64 FX53 @ 2.4Ghz
nVidia GeForceFX 5950 with 256mb RAM
1Gb RAM
120Gb SATA Hard Drive
Audigy 2 ZS
Creative 6.1 6700 Speakers
1 Gigabit Network Card...
9 USB 2.0 ports...
3dMark 03 Score : 6600
Mmmm... Alienware rule. Maybe I should take a photo? Muuuhahaha...
Then I have my laptop, which is decidedly more "quaint" :
Athlon 2200+ M Processor
ATi Radeon 7500 Mobile
384mb RAM (64mb taken up by the gfx card)
20gb hdd
Creative SB Extigy...
3dMark03 Score : Would not run!
Yeah, well, it's great for working on. It's gaming potential is minimal, though I can get Half-Life, Quake and Total Annihilation running on it at decent framerates. Although... they should do considering their age. I tried Black Hawk Down on it once, that was funny to say the least. "Oh god, i'm being shot by that pixel in the distance".

AMD Athlon 2600+ @ 2166mhz (3000+)
512mb PC3200 Samsung stuff (mediocre)
ASUS A7V8X-X Mobo (new ABIT AN7 arriving tomorrow)
1* 40gb Seagate IDE
1* 20gb Seagate IDE
nVidia GeForce FX 5900 Ultra @ 480/950
SoundBlaster Live Player 5.1
12x DVD ROM
54x CD ROM
Networking is built into the mobo as seems to be the case these days, my monitor is a 17" HP job (a lot better than my old 15" which faded from dark to bright like crazy).
The CPU is cooled by a Thermaltake Subzero 4G peltier system, which keeps it around 40 - 48 degrees. This is on the small stock fan though, the bigger fan (which is now dead) kept it about 34 - 42. I'm getting an even bigger fan though.

And regarding the 2500 M, they're *waaaaay* better overclockers than the standard XP chips, owing to the lower voltage. Anyway that's all I'll say on the matter.

what current fantasy world do you live in exactly? The one where the mystery men make up magical system specs? If you'd have posted something vaguely believable... you might have got away with it,
