What would the ultimate weapon representation of each of the nine alignments be? Rather if you could create a weapon dedicated to one of the nine alignments, what form would it take and what powers would it possess?

Edit: Corrected my numbering error. Thanks Nightmare.

Neutrality's Ultimate Weapon:

The Six Tailed Chainsaw Of Time.

This magically powered collection of six chainsaws are connected at the base by indestructible bungee cords, which are in turn fastened to a conceptual rod housing a virtual singularity. The blades can cut through not only matter and energy, but time and space as well. Once swung in combat, there is no way of knowing where the chainsaws will go, what they will do, or when they'll be back.

A surprisingly popular weapon among total dribbling madmen everywhere.

Listen to these words from satisfied Chaotic Blade Masters:

Buggerit! I told em! I told em!

Millenium hand and shrimp!

Momeeeee!

Seven alignments? There are nine! :)

Anyway, a holy avenger like Carsomyr is pretty much the ultimate LG weapon.

Bah...I made a better Holy Avenger...Avauril +5

2d8 + 5 (1d5 Magic Fire damage per hit) <-- should have been against evil
THAC0 +5 (+2 against evil)

Weider is blessed
50% magic resistance
Dipels target on hit
1 extra attack per round

I wanted to add 20% chance for a target to be blinded after each hit but have no idea how to add that.
And my original plan was for the sword to give that Magic Fire damage against evil only....Allso couldn't implement

The Ultimate Weapon of True Neutrality:

The Big Potential Block

The Big Potential Block fully embodies the principle of True Neutrality. Assisting neither Good nor Evil, favoring neither Law nor Chaos, the vast powers of the Big Potential Block have never actually been tested. In order to avoid interfering in any way with the fate of gods, men, animals, or random particles, the Big Block remains always in a state of potential existence, yet never actually manifests itself. Nor in fact does it even exist in theory, as the mere theory of its existence may provoke or restrain action and thus upset the balance. Those few Neutral scholars of the deep occult that have realized the potential existence of the Big Block have felt vaguely cheated, and have then dismissed the idea and gone onto thinking about something else.

Actually I think I can pull these off. I think.

And I'm thinking more along the lines of items that could be implemented in the game.

Oh. I see. ;)

The ultimate weapon of NG would be the Holy Grail, the cup of peace, a small clay cup rhat turned undead, banishe demons, and filled evil creatures with hopelessness at the dark path their lives had taken. All of that can be implemented in game, though you'd have to make an EFF file in DLTCEP to get the hopelesness to only effect Evil creatures. Easier to just use the standard spell and make the item only useable by NG.

Interesting. Such an item used as a weapon wouldn't have occured to me. Posted Image I like it.

LN would have to have something similar to Vhailor's axe,

Final Judgement
Cursed
Damage: 5-15 slashing
Enchanted: +2
Special: 1-6 fire damage
THACO: +3
Speed: 10
It also does double damage against 'guilty' and chaotic creatures and gives added protection from attacks to weilder.

B)
Magus: "If history is to change, let it change! If their world is to be destroyed, so be it! If my fate is to be destroyed... I must simply laugh!!"

Vash: "Normally when you buy an old, used bike, you're supposed to repair it before riding it!"
Wolfwood: "Are you dissing my beautiful shiny Angelina II?!?"
Vash: "I'm dissing YOU, not your stupid broken bike!"

It's all happening here

Lawful Good ? The Holy Avenger. The sword as symbol of rightful authority is apropriately mythic.

Lawful Neutral: I?d like another sword here, to keep going with the idea of authority and self discipline. Maybe a Katana.

Lawful Evil: Place the third sword here, a sword of tyranny.

Chaotic Good: Axe or hammer, a barbarian?s weapon. Maybe a club.

Chaotic Neutral: Anything, preferably everything at once. Boomerang Battle Babies. The Wabajak. A +6 Herring. Happy Fun Ball. +12 Hackmaster.

Chaotic Evil: A club. Violent, primitive, something that requires on organization or craft.

Neutral Good. The Holy Grail. If there is any alignment that?s about forgiving and converting your enemies rather than destroying them, it?s NG.

Neutral: I just can?t find a weapon that embodies Neutrality. D&D Neutrality as an active ethos has always seemed as silly as anything to me; it?s almost always thinly masked long term Neutral Good (Jaheira). Apathetic just not caring type neutral doesn?t suggest a weapon (maybe the Hot Steamed Bun of Apathy: paralyzes your foe with ennui). Withdraw from the world type mysticism might end up with a Prayer Wheel or Clay Bowl of Contemplation, but that type of mysticism is also ultimately NG (in my opinion).

Neutral Evil: A very poisonous staff or spear with a paralyzing effect. Not instantly deadly, but something that is about inflicting pain for the sake of pain.

TN is the double bladed sword IMO. Unfortunately, not in 2E.

The "ultimate weapon" for a Chaotic Evil Character would be a flail not unlike a Cat of Nine Tails, able to pierce armor and flay the skin down to the bone off of an opponent. It would cause massive shock and quite abit of bleeding damage I would think, although the real damage itself would be rather superficial, as getting your skin torn off doesn't really impede your ability to fight.

Flail of Flaying
1d6 Blunt Damage
1d2 Piercing Damage
+4 to Hit
+4 Enchantment
Profiency: Flail
Inflicts 1d6 (if possible, if not then just 1) point(s) of bleeding damage every round until cured.
Usable by only Chaotic Evil Opponents.

or perhaps, some kind of Hammer that when it strikes has an effect similiar to microwave radiation, cooking your opponent alive from the inside out?

Pretty much anything sick and twisted will work in that category.

Ha! Posted Image That's great! Something similar to a Rod of Lordly Might...
Here's my idea on TN. A club created from a tree that has been struck by lightning. Maybe band it in metal created from meteoric ore and cooled in a waterfall or glacial stream. The club would inflict elemental dmg when it hits and allow for ranged elemental attacks as well. Something along these lines. The elements care not if they hurt or harm, they simply are.

Thanks all for your continued inputs. You're providing me with quite a bit of food for thought.

Wakizashi + 4: Nirvana
The origin of this weapon is just as mysterious as the sourse of its power. The enchantments weaved through it are distinctly different from any spun by magi, and do not point toward the work of any god known on Faerun.

Abilities: Cast Mage Spell Friends 3x/day
Cast Mage Spell Detect Illusion 1x/day
Cast Priest Spell Defensive Harmony 1x/day
Free Action
Protection from Fear, Confusion, Feeblemind, and Illithid intelligence draining.
THAC0: +4 bonus
Damage: 1D8 +4
Damage type: piercing
Weight: 2
Speed Factor: 0
Proficiency Type: Scimitar/Wakizashi/Ninja-To
Type: 1-handed
Requires: 5 Strength
Usable By: True Neutral Non-mages and Non-Clerics

How's that?

Lawful Neutral: I’d like another sword here, to keep going with the idea of authority and self discipline. Maybe a Katana.

Katana +4: Noxa
The bringer of judgement. The answer to the unlawful. This weapon has one purpose in mind, to punish those that break the laws. Be they for good or evil it matters not, for law and order must be upheld.

Immunity to Enchantment/Charm spells

THACO: +4 bonus

Speed Factor: 1
Proficiency Type: Katana
Type: 1-handed
Requires: 6 strength
Not Usable By:
Druid
Cleric
Mage
Thief
Non-Lawful alignments
Non-Neutral alignments
