Took down Melissan with Hubelpot along for the ride, but the ToB stuff doesn't seem to work very well. Here's the stuff I found...

- in the Irenicus taunt at the end of SoA, Hubelpot says "...back up more often than on o' Jansen's..." which should be "one"

- Hubelpot wasn't listed as one of Volo's choices

- after the final battle, some weird stuff happened, but weird stuff sometimes happens in Ascension, so I reloaded & this happened twice:
...when the Solar offers you the choice, Hubelpot says "Where... you? So mah duty is not yet fulfilled? Very well. A deal is a deal, an Ah'll not try te back out now. So, ye got anything te eat around here?", which seems a bit out of place
...then it goes into his dialogue as if you'd kicked him out of the party (you get the "please rejoin" & "wait in the Pocket Plane" options
...I told him to rejoin, but then everything stopped - no more conversation, the Solar had nothing to say to me, & so I never got to see Hubelpot's epilogue :(

Incidently, those Rabbits from the Horn stick around a *long* time - the duration isn't listed in the item description, but I'd say it could safely be dropped quite a bit, like to a minute or two.

Anyway, enjoyed having him along for the ride - looking forward to future releases! :)

Thanks for the final bug reports Imrahil! :)

1) Very sorry to hear about the Volo problem and the final dialog glitch. His Volo dialog, god advice, and epilogue are all there. We'll try to get them working.

2) For some reason there's an old version of the horn in the beta; the new version had the typos fixed and the duration of the bunnies dropped to 1 turn.

Hope you'll try Beta2 and/or the final.

I did Hubelpot's quest, and I said he could have all the gold. He thanked me, and he offered me his fealty, which I accepted. Then we went to visit Ham to pass off the gold. Ham and Hubelpot chatted, and then Ham left. The only thing is that Hubelpot still HAS the gold! It is in his inventory. The quest seems over. It has been moved to the Done Quests section. But I still have the gold! Is that supposed to happen?

P.S. I love this mod! :D Hubelpot is great. He even defeated Faldorn all by himself. He did a great job, especially with his spirit animals. (I am using Totemic Druid.)

It worked in my game. Hublepot doesn't have the money anymore and I don't remember 'dropping' it. I can check if you want, I should have a savegame somewhere from before I picked him up.

Ok, that's the deal

Gold in PC's inventory -> Gold stays in PC's inventory regardless if PC or Hublepot click-talks Hamlish.

Gold in Hublepot's inventory -> Gold is 'passed on' regardless if PC or Hublepot click-talks Hamlish.

Edwina banter: Hubelpot's remark about Thayvian peppercorns got assigned to Edwina even though I left him behind at Enge's.

I'm wondering if file SC#AR0500.baf has somehow contributed to this bug?

Take a look at these entries - I don't see why you had to recreate him.

One other thing - dialogue-wise. I note a lot of inconsistencies. During the quest he uses 'mah' for 'my' but later on he's using 'me' for 'my'. He uses 'te' for 'to' and then goes back to using 'to'. Same for 'of'. Sometimes he uses o' for of, then he's back to 'of'.

Probably Working on umpteen other mods, moderating forums, dealing with RL, etc. etc. :D

I don't know if this is a 'bug', as I don't have a lot of computer knowledge, but after my party defeated the gang in the bridge district, I made sure Hub picked up the gold and whatnot, then we headed straight for the Five Flagons. As soon as we entered Keto told her story to the folks in the tavern, and Hamlish was not in the kitchen. I reloaded and redid the battle and going to the FF, and still no Hamlish. I am playing several other games at the same time and I always found Hamlish.
Well, I finally had a hunch and Crtr-Y'd Keto, entered the FF, and all was fine. I just raised her when I left. It seems her taking over for a bit kept Hamlish from appearing, but whether this is a 'bug' caused by Keto, or by Hub with another mod character in the party, I don't know. I just wanted to state this. If anyone else runs into this maybe my experience will help as I think both Keto and Hub are getting popular.

Got Edwin & Hubelpot in the group. We've visted the graveyard. Didn't get the Nether Scroll yet. But Hubelpot's dialog calling Edwin 'Missus' has already kicked in -- something triggered this section of dialog before the 'surprise' happened. This is part of the sequence.

Meant no offence, sir. Ah was thinking that ye be playing a bit o? mask ball or some such game.
