@Shae - Woot! :D I'll let you know when I'm wrapping stuff up, probably within the next few days.

Sweet :) I will be ready (and my cats will also be ready, to stomp all over the keyboard and type in nonsense whenever I'm not looking).

As soon as you have a beta ready I'll be happy to comb through the dialogue files again like I did with the SoA part if you want

YEEEESSSS yes yes yesyesyes! :D :D I'm chipping away at this last huge dialog, which will be done either tonight or tomorrow afternoon, then I'll be reading through the whole mess and getting it all organized, and maybe I can ship you the dialogs after I'm done with that so you can read through while we're working on the technical stuff? Or would you rather wait until it's in a playable beta form? Either way works for me.

There are still a few major edits I have to work through thanks to me making changes at the last minute, but I don't think those will take me too long once I get going on them. So, yeah. Not too much longer now. ^_^

I'd be happy to go through the dialogs when you're ready :D Getting that done at the same time as you guys are working out the mysterious moddery stuff like you said sounds like a good idea. Then when a beta version is ready my Bhaalspawn can clonk me over the head if I missed reporting anything huge :P

Oh! So much progress! <3 As soon as you have a beta ready I'll be happy to comb through the dialogue files again like I did with the SoA part if you want (and then I will have to vanish off the face of the earth for a time to play through it all).

Unless a company constantly delays and looks like they aren't going to release a game, I will always see game delays as a good thing. It gives them more time to iron out any problems and in the end we end up with a better product because of it. I'm sure I can live without playing BGEE for another couple of months (and if I can't I could always start up the original BG to play in the meantime).

It is rather close to the release date, but I wouldn't be surprised if that had something to do with their approval process.

Knew they were thinking about a Kickstarter, but I didn't even dare to think that this countdown might be leading to it (my thoughts were worst case: another Dungeon Siege, most likely: Wheel of Time, most wanted but highly unlikely: Kickstarter).

So a new Obsidian isometric fantasy game with Avellone involved in it? There is no way I can resist backing this.

Looks like they've put a bit of work into preparing this too with the map and visual reward tiers etc.
