The only way the widescreen mod could be related to this crash is if you had previously entered the silo and then changed the resolution. Apart from that, I don't know, you should have a look at the fixpack forums.


As a workaround for continuing the game, there are two alternative ways to enter the prison in order to get to the deva. The first is a secret entrance at the junkyard that leads to the prison and the second is to talk with a guard and get yourself arrested after agreeing to any of the murder plots.

I just downloaded it myself to check it out and it extracted successfully with both winrar and 7zip. Apart from AVG (which could cause some problems) I can't think of any other reason why you can't extract it.

Anyway, go here : http://bootstrike.co...ment/files.html to find a version of my mod compressed with winzip. It may solve your extraction problems.

Hey thanks Ghostdog, I appreciate your help. In the end, it turned out to be my aggressive file permissions setup with windows 7 that was causing the problems. I just extracted the files to my desktop then manually moved them over. Now it works like a charm - with only the odd bit of moonwalking from the Nameless One!
