Mods for BGT not currently included in the BWS

Since the BWS currently has no maintainer, combined with the fact that some modders do not bother to submit stuff for it in the first place, there can be some new mods simply not included in it by now.

 

Personally I have been away from BG modding for many years now, and there is a bit of a mess when I try to find what new mods exist - most new stuff is for EE or maybe only some components are for old BG, and some mods is updated later to support old BG as well. It's kinda hard to see what is what, not to mention mods are scattered all over the place.

 

So, I figured some users here might be interested in a thread where we all can list mods we find that work also on BGT that we can install by ourselves manually. This is not a "request" thread for mod inclusion in BWS of any kind, it's simply a collaborative discussion.

 

I'll start with Southern Edge by Lava Del'Vortel. Link

It was recently made compatible with old BG2 via an update. NOTE: He made a lot of effort porting it but he himself says he's not sure how it will work on BGT - we will have to find out ourselves. I'll be installing it shortly and report back how it installs. Edit: Well, it installs fine :)

Romancing Imoen in a megamod?

How does that work out in a compatibility sense? I mean not only in a technical sense, but also in concept?

 

I mean specifically that I am going to install several mods affecting this, such as

- Kelsey (which I have heard can romance Imoen)

- Gavin (which I also heard can romance Imoen)

- Imoen Romance (because I myself want to romance her)

 

So, how will this work out? Will Kelsey, Gavin and me romance her at the same time? That would be... awkward. Or is there some checks in the mods to prevent this?


A couple questions about Longer Road in a megamod

Each time I have tried this mod in a mega install I have had one specific problem, namely that the experience resets to 2.95m every time after I load a savegame. I can not be totally sure but it definitely seems to happen only with this mod in my install.

Furthermore, it is said in the mods readme that it messes with the experience cap of the game so it seems likely to be the culprit of this problem.
 
But this was years ago. I'm wondering if someone knows if this has changed? What's the status of this? And also, can this be fixed somehow these days? The thread I linked talks about a "ctbfix" thingy (a quick weidu patch that edits the bgmain.exe to up the experience cap again), which is great and all, but can we be sure it will also work with Longer Road? Maybe someone knowing a bit of the insides of this mod can answer this.
 
 
And a second thing is that when I try to install it via BWS (BGT) I get some warnings. Not sure how harmful they are?

Issue with Druid Grove Makeover in megamod?

Because when I install it in BWS (BGT) I get this:

What's the problem here?
