Anyone who can pull a wedgie in splint armour is going to do it whether I try to object or not.

Apparently still has a third of 'market share'. And the best version of FF for it is 3.6.x.
Try Pale Moon, an optimized build for XP.
Many big companies use XP because it works fine with their networks and their other software, such as Photoshop 7 -- still about the best version of PS that Adobe released. Many Win 7 users have to run older software in XP mode.
For home users it's not just about the cost of Win 7 alone, it's that it's too big to run on older PCs that work perfectly with XP. At this moment I'm using an Acer laptop that came with XP but now has Win 7. The OS takes about half the total RAM, which can't be increased in this lovely but dinky notebook.

Nice work, guys. Some tweaking will always be needed after a site redesign. It looks great to me. I'll live with the slowness on Chrome until you experts get around to it.

The Marian Reforms would give my penniless game character a racing chariot paid for by the state. Will I also get free horses? How about a pit crew? And those blades to fit on the wheel hubs? Will there be an in-game romance with, say, a nubile Gallic girl who is a horse whisperer and who whispers hoarsely in certain situations? Will I have to complete military service before I can race chariots or can I buy honorable discharge papers online? Are there stores where I can buy stuff like equine steroids?
