hi,
you can find this bow on peter who's training wyverns in a cave in the cloakwood. the weapon description says it is a long bow but it is not, the attacks of my ranger are dropped to having no weapon equipped. a simple composite or longbow gives me back the bonus attacks from proficiency.

i'd say it's either no longbow, despite the description, which i could not test at that point however, having noone with shortbow proficiency - or the weapon is completely bugged.

The bow gives a .5 attack per round but this is set at a flat rate, not cumulative with other bonuses. Therefore, think of it as stepping down the bonuses a ranger might already have with a long bow.

You can change the effect yourself with NI or DLTCEP. If you use the one attached here, it will not have the correct description for you (each string reference is different between installed games). You can place this into the DSOTSC\ITM folder overwriting the original. That way, the next time you install this mod, you will have the fixed bow included.
