With a big thank you to hlidskialf, the BG1 NPC Project is now available for BGT-BP. To try and minimize confusion, the BGT version is being released as its own mod and with its own version numbering. BGT v1 includes all content through v6 of the Tutu BG1 NPC mod.

Project page, forums, and download location are all the same as for BG1 NPC, but the readme is different.

Get it! Enjoy it! Thank hlidskialf for the conversion!

Music files? I never tested these. Before I install and cause problems to my other mod testing, does anyone know if they would conflict with the BGT-BP build? The Gibberlings site only mentions BGT so you know this issue will come up if it isn't clear. With BGT-BP, we already have a songlist cap.

Reading through the music mod and through NPC scripts, I don't see where the music gets called. In the dialogs themselves? I haven't check that yet.

Just trying to make sure this won't cause issues for anyone.

I do not believe it should be a problem; the music files are called via dialogue, not added to the music list itself. It's essentially replacing the sound file that contains a spoken line of dialogue with a song.

Perfect solution! We need other NPC projects to use this. Thank you.

Adding music to the music list is still a better solution than this for a number of reasons. This is probably the sole case where this method is better and I would not, in general, recommend mods follow this practice.

it causes an annoying issue of game background music and dialogue music playing together, which Idobek is solving atm.
