I'm trying to do the militia captain quest in SoS but I've got a problem... I have valen in my party and the whole order of the radiant heart is slain since many many weeks....I get the letters and have to go to Prelate Wessen who is the in the radiant heart but dead.... I tried to create him with cluaconsole but he is always hostile from the beginning....

Is there any way I can create him non-hostile or finish the quest in another way?? perhaps setting up a global variable or something?Any way?

PS : I'd also like to know why this baldurdash fix isnt included in BP :

Rogue & Wizard Saving Throw Tables Fixes :
{Files SAVEROG.2DA and SAVEWIZ.2DA contained in this archive are modified versions of saving throw tables for Rogues (thieves and bards, including kits) and Wizards (mages and sorcerors, including kits and specialists.) They resolve the oversight with the saving throws for these classes not decreasing as they are supposed to at level 21. All other classes get their final reductions at level 20 or before, but the original Level 20 Rules set from Baldur's Gate 1 is still in effect, though characters in Shadows Of Amn may reach either level 40 or eight million experience points, whichever is first.}

And don't tell me that the BP follows different rules for saving throws cause they r exactly as the original game and as the ad&d players handbook but without the 21 level saving throw increases.

re: delivering the missives. after talking to Lord Coprith in Trademeet, try doing a

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("CbDeliveringMissives","GLOBAL",3)

and then talking to the major (dump the letter to the prelate as well, just in case). it should all work fine from there.

re: SAVEROG.2DA and SAVEWIZ.2DA. they are included in BP. no, really. :P

they might not be included in the same way that baldurdash is though... the problem with the baldurdash fixes is that they only go up to level 40. in BP, these 2DA files (and other character-level related files) go up to level 50 (and at level 50, mage saves are 5, 1, 2, 4 and 1 - so there's some pretty considerable decrease there after level 20). you can always edit them yrself manually to saves more like what you wuld prefer: i use DLTCEP to do it, but you could probably do it with notepad.

hmmm lets see my fighter is level 31 or 32 and has same saves as a 17 level fighter...my mage is 26 and has same saves as when he was 16 level....i hope I see some improvement soon else there is no such thing...
Anyway thanks for the tip on the sos problem...(and the awfully fast reply too!!!)naturally it will work....:))

PS : the Wizard is almost impossible to go to level 50...he needs 375k on each level up....the other classes go much easier to lvl 50.
