When first installing BP, I read the compatibility list and saw that FR_RoV wouldn't have any problem. But, after a long time playing, I noticed that some "bosses" and the new merchants had some items duplicated. Then I arrived at ToB. RoV creates a demon at the very beginning, who drops the Ring of Virtue when killed. The point is, that there were 2 demons, dropping a ring each of them (I only picked up one). Finally, I noticed, when thoroughly reading the starting menu (where u can select bt SoA (Kachiko's portrait) or ToB), that it says something along the lines "Enjoy a new experience with Ascension, Tactics, FR_RoV". Sooooo, my suspicion:
Fr_RoV is already included in BP.
Therefore, some1 should change the "C" in the compatibility list for an "I" regarding FR_RoV. If I'm mistaken, plz some1 correct me.
C u.

FR_RoV

Now that you mention, T remember when start the game, we are allow to choose either playing SOA or TOB. Under SOA, it stated that we can play TDD, SOS, TS, Immy Romance, etc. Did it also mention FR-ROV or ROV, etc? I think it is stated (verify when I reached home or someone please verify that).
If FR-ROV is stated, then very likely your suspicion that FR-ROV is included in BP is VALID.

no, FR/ROV is not included in a BP install - absolutely not. however, i've had the same thing (multiple merchants in TOB) happen to me to - much like i frequently have multiple tashias in trademeet. and, like tashia, this has something to do with the way the mod is coded, not with BP - it seems that these mods, when you reinstall them (ie whenever you uninstall another mod...) they just add new creatures, rather than replace the existing one. my record is currently 6 tashias and 3 money d. merchants.
in short, it's a problem with these mods, not with BP. to fix, either kill off the extra creatures with ctrl-y, or remove the offending mods from yr weidu.log, so they don't get reinstalled each time you remove a mod. (this latter solution might cause problems if you later wish to uninstall these mods, however...)

not sure if it's part of the same problem or on a string of it's own, but a long time ago, in a country far, far away, I played a game where the kid you have to rescue in trollford (can't remember the name) kept on spawning more of himself once the quest was done, and you spoke to him in the tavern. it didn't take long for the entire tavern to clutter up with him. heh looked kinda weird
